Seriously, Niantic?!

Yes, they did the intentionel "glitch" once again with larvitar, which is freaking unfair. The event started at around 22:30 in europe - you cant go hunt at that time on a freaking thursday, when you live with your girlfriend. Its not balanced at all. They should've just bumped up the spawn rate slightly as it is atm, instead of handing out tyranitars to the people that live in the right time zone.

I live in the right time zone, and didn't see a single larvitar. You didn't miss anything.

I did, some of the hardcore players in my ciry managed to get 10-15 before it stopped.

My biome was the one that probably saw many...unfortunately it would have happened at 5:30am.
I feel your pain.

What exactly is the problem with everyone getting a Tyranitar anyway?

Well, its only a problem if you have to live somewhere special in order to get it. Also, its a pseudo-legendary, shouldnt have the rareness of a pidgeot for 2 hours of gameplay!!

Or just leave it so everyone can get a chance to get a few over the week

It goes the same length of time for everyone. You'll make out at the end when it goes late into the evening instead of cutting out in mid afternoon.

Edit: you dont understand. I dont care about the length of the event, when it doesn't spawn larvitars for more than 30 minutes. Those 30 minutes are all that matters, but when you can't hunt for those 30 minutes - unlike someone else that lives in the right time zone - it sucks.

Yes, it seems they have managed to screw it again for a lot of people, the only thing I am seeing is Slugma and Geodude with some ocasional Rhyhorn while others are swimming in Larvitar...Seriously? Slugma is not a rock mon! What kind of event is this if I can't even get one Larvitar per day? not asking too much or am I?

I kind of agree with this although I have enjoyed the event very much so far.

So, the places that have a zero percent chance of seeing a Larvitar keep a zero percent chance? Why does that make sense? Oh and to the OP, I hunted religiously from the minute the event started. Hit all of my major cluster spawns and more. Zero mons from the Tyranitar family. So I guess that means my chances when an event isn't running is 0.0000000000001% and then they nerfed it to get that pesky one out of the equation. Yay.

Sorry to hear, they seemed very common the first hour or so.

I don't mind not finding one. I just wish I felt like if I put in 30-40 hours of hardcore hunting this week I could check the box of catching a Larvitar in the wild. Sadly, much like the Chansey/Pink event in this biome, I imagine that isn't in the cards now. That's OK I just don't understand why it needs to be that way. I have Tyranitars. One Larvitar in the wild after hours of effort will not swing the needle of power in this game for my area lol

At least you've caught a wild larvitar after gen 2 has only been out for a few months. Meanwhile, many here have still not caught a single wild dratini after 10 months, so you sound like you're actually doing well for your biome

This is not fair at all...And then people wonders why active and legal players are dropping day after day...This kind of things make the players mad.

And I agree that the event is refreshing, of course, being able to see at least Geodude and some Rhyhorn is nice since I never get them. But I am swimming in useless Slugma despite he is not even rock mon and need 50 stupid candies to evolve. I have seen cluster of 5 Slugma while the rock mon are one by one and not even close to each other.

I have send a report, but of course nothing will be done about it, goodbye to my dream of getting my first Tyranitar this week. Even one per day will made the difference for me, but they decided to screw it yet again.

OMG you guys! Be logical! How unfair would it be for them to do an event for gen 2's sudo-legendary BEFORE gen 1's?? I do not live in a water biome where dratini are, so I never see them. A handful of players in our local hunting group still have NEVER seen one in the wild! After 10 months?! Meanwhile, I kept reading of players all over water biomes evolving handfuls of dragonites while I didn't evolve one till after the first 8 months I was playing! I'm 100k away from lvl 38 so I'm not a noob or anything. They should do dratini family FIRST

getting lots of kubuto here golem is at least useful and will be even more so when the legendary birds come out.

Slugma's evolution, magcargo, is a fire and rock type, though.

But I would much rather find (even occasionally) larvitar!

I live in PST, but PTC was down for the first few hours of the event. So, if there were vast hordes of larvitars out there, there was no way to interact with them.

All of us registered on google accounts are never effected by the PTC crashes. We all interacted just fine from the start.

I could grab two of them yesterday evening (Europe). I hoped it would stay that way the whole week. But it would have been too good to be true.

what the hell area is that where alllll those larvitars are spawning?

Rock-Mt.Moon biome combos as I understand it.

I know they never spawn here (North Florida) but I caught one on incense during the first event hour; none seen since.
