Power up Tyranitar vs evolve new larvitar...ty in advance

Hello- I have level 30.5 (cp 3115) iv 87% with B/C, I've been lucky to recently hatch 3 larvitar in last 2 weeks and now have 138 candies. Would you evolve a lvl 20 91% obviously hopes to roll B/SE are low or just max mine out.

Hmmm. The chance for disappointment is high. However I have found that a B/SE Tyranitar really is a monster situational attacker in the current meta. For my most important offensive needs he is a good source of decent speed and tankiness to take out multiple Blisseys (especially if they do not have DG) and Snorlaxes. I know you already have a DT/O Dragon which your B/SE performs similarly to in sims. Are you getting stonewalled in your Blissey takedown attempts with your current roster?

I don't need to tell you of the rate of return per candy on powering up the level 30.5 mon. You already know it is crazy high and will not impact performance in a huge way.

Thanks for reply- no I just really enjoy gym battles and taking on high level Blissey and Snorlax it's fun to me. I have not come across as lvl 10 gym I can't take down myself with my elite 6. I already in 19 stable gyms and I don't want nor do I plan to put a tyranitar in a gym I only want to attack but I fear I will roll an awful set and be stuck with a lvl 20 tyranitar with D moves that I don't want to power up but will feel compelled, if that makes sense lol

Another roll is a gamble. The odds are against you. But considering the returns on investing in your B/C and the chance of rolling a B/SE (or another B/C) I would roll it. I also have no real problem with the Blissey towers so I would shoot for the stars. This is a personal decision for you seeing how your "needs" aren't really the issue. There is no perfect answer to provide.
