My personal attackers into Blissey test

I trained a friendly gym that had 2 blissey at the bottom first cp 2100 ZH/HP, second cp2487 P/DG...below are list I used to see who could go through both
1. Machamp 2534 C/CC
2. Machamp 2450 C/DP
3. Dragonite 3141 D/O
4. Tyranitar 3115 B/C
5. Gary 2904 B/HP
Both machamps lasted to basically the same with blissey having about 30% hp left, dragonite was a little better ( I am good at dodge never got hit with a charge move and I dodge most quick attacks unless firing off my charge) even though I dodge DG it still does good damage to dragon. Tyranitar did slightly better than dragon. My expectations for Gary weren't high but after just getting him back from 2 months in a gym I wanted to test him out he is a monster he did the best having died with blissey having only 10% roughly left and Rhydin finishing him off with 15 seconds left. I will not longer put this Gary in gyms anymore and he had joined my elite 6, congrats big boy!

Thanks for letting us know about your experiment. I always like to hear about the results of experiments like this. One thing I do notice, however, is that the CP of your machamps is significantly lower than the other pokemon on your list. Therefore, they would have gained you the most prestige if you used them for prestiging purposes. For attacking they wouldn't have been as good for you, but are they also lower level than the others?

What are the levels and IVs of the pokemon used?

I wasn't doing it to prestige it was already a level 10 with my 3085 snorlax towards the top I just wanted to "test" them out.
Machamp 2534 level 33.5 76%
Machamp 2450 level 31 80%
Dragonite 3141 level 32 91%
Tyranitar 3115 level 30.5 87%
Gary 2904 level 32.5 93%
PS I've had awful luck with high iv machamps getting garbage movesets so I was thrilled to catch high level decently high iv machops to evolve I did over 21 evil to get C/DP

i brought a c/dp poliwrath up to 2k for lower level blissey prestiging who works well on up to 2500/2600 blisseys. You know, for those ****s who add low level blisseys into the last slot of low level gyms so people are discouraged from prestiging them.

Can anyone tell me how Machamp with Karate Chop / Submission compares to Machamp with Counter / CC? I have K/Sub, and I think he does pretty well vs Blissey. Just prestiged against one, and she had about 20% life remaining, which I finished up with an Exeggutor. Would you suspect C/CC is much better? If so I won't power this guy (KC/Sub) up much more....

Yes unfortunately I would not power it up, I have a 97% KC/Sub I left alone the difference between yours and both C/CC and C/DP is significant

Yeah, took me a long time to get one with C/DP. Luckily it was a 98%er. Much better than the one I had with KC/S.

A 2450 C/DP Machamp shall be capable to take down a 2100 Blissey alone, did you dodge the charge move?

It's my understanding that all options made it through the first 2100 Blissey, but none could make it through the 2nd Blissey back-to-back.

The results seem reasonable to me. I would have expected B/C Tyranitar to do best on the ZH/HB, if you can get used to the awkward timing of Crunch (B/SE would be a lot better for successfully dodging ZH). The others would all also do well, probably retaining more than half of their HP. The P/DG Blissey would be the tougher match, with nothing doing as well, and as such would have more impact on overall results. This is the one where I'd expect Gyarados would have a slight edge in terms of HP lost, and Tyranitar 2nd.

Machamp is the speed king, but he was measuring how close they came to making it through 2 Blisseys in a row, which is a different metric.

This is correct, Tyranitar did well but crunch just take every quick move can't dodge with it similar to DP. Dragonite does well but DG even with dodge still does massive damage to him. Gary though can fire HP and dodge without be hit

From my own experience, the best multiple Blissey sweeper will be a Bite/SE tyranitar. T-rex resists all of Blisseys moves except DG, and Bite/SE is a very good dodging moveset too.

Previously did a video (https://youtu.be/idiHYXnBKQk) on a list of common attackers into a Blissey. Tyranitar had the most HP remaining for those candidates who managed to down her.

PS, Gyarados is actually not too bad. If I were to only use unique pokemons to deal with lvl 10 gyms with multiple Blisseys, gyarados will be in one of my line-up ;).
