Which is my better fairy?

2029 CP Granbull Bite/Play Rough (14/11/10)

2006 CP Clefable Pound/Moonblast (15/13/15)

On paper I think Granbull wins by DPS but I think Clefable is tankier if I'm not mistaken. However, my biggest concern is the quick move, as I'm not sure it bite or pound is the better move. Unfortunately I can't use either against tyranitar because it resists both normal and dark moves, but they seem ok against dragonite.

Neither are optimal for anything, really...
So just use the one you want to use?

It gets boring using ice types against a dragonite :)

I've used my clefable several times against dragonites but the granbull was a fresh evolve from a level 30 snubbull.

I kinda regret it tbh, I don't know if they'll ever bring a fairy quick move, but bite/play rough seems to be the best 'fairy' moveset according to this website while as someone pointed out typing issues of synergising dark/fairy may be problematic, hence the question.

I mean some of the other questions here are about non optimal mons too. Golem is not optimal for anything either (except the legendary birds and maybe charizard), but some discussion is never bad :)

Ok so I have done some math and this is the result

Granbull
Avg dps:20.62(Tankiness 317)

Clefable
Avg dps:10.92(Tankiness 361)

Tankiness is base stamina added to base defense so ivs will differ the results a little bit.

Fairy typing hits super effective against dark, fighting, and dragon; but unfortunately the bite on Granbull is not STAB, and hits not very effectively against dark and fighting.

Therefore, I would go with your clefable

I would go with Granbull because of play rough. It is a hard hitting 2 bar move, which I favor over single bar moves.

As far as bite goes, I never use it for damage, only to charge up my moves (Tyranitar would be the 1 exception.)
