How bad is my Snaxz a.k.a (my Snorlax)
So my snorlax is 77% Iv's 10 hp 13 def, and 12 atk,and it's moveset is lick for quick attack, and earthquake for the charge move and which would it be better at attacking or defending in YOUR OWN OPINION
P.S please don't think I'm bragging.

Lick is definitely the beffer offensive quick move out of the two, but the snorlax itself is a defensive Pokemon. It puts out damage slowly and can tank a massive amount, which is even more annoying on defense since hp is increased.
Earthquake is known for being the worst of the 3 charge moves but it may not be that bad since it's harder to dodge than hyper beam and upcoming Pokemon may be weak to it.
Tldr: offensive moveset on a defensive Pokemon. Use it however you want, but it's not ideal. Might want to wait for a better one.
But the animation is irrelevant, you're just waiting for the flash.
Gym battling could literally be a black screen with only the white flash and HP bars showing and it would still play the same.
The only moves I have "trouble" dodging are ones that aren't on relevant pokemon, and I still dodge them, I'm just less efficient at fitting in quick attacks because I don't know when the dodge window is.
I consider my myself a very competitive gamer. I won the metal gear solid event for the ps4 leaderboards, top 300 for s&d for modern warfare when i was a teen, won a few demon souls and dark souls tourneys.
This is different. I get hit all the time, I might get a text, a stranger might start talking to me, my phone might not register, the battle might not sync up right. In the end it's just such a simple system I end up just tapping.
But none of those reasons are due to a lack of ability to dodge.
For dodging to actually be a challenge, they'd have to make the dodge window smaller instead of always being 0.7s for all mvoes.
You could have moves that do less DPS in a vacuum, but have a smaller timing window to dodge so that they're more likely to do full damage and therefore increase the average DPS dealt, and have higher damage moves that are more punishing if undodged, but are easier to dodge, so each would have their uses - one would be better against players who are good at dodging, the other would be better against players who don't or can't dodge.
Right now the best moves are simply the ones that do the most DPS / DDPS.
Earthquake and things like Blizzard "may" be hard to dodge since the animation sorta clouds/blocks the yellow flash...
Earthquake comes and the flash is pretty much right when all the brown hits so it's not as obvious...
Unlike things like Hyper Beam which tells you it's coming and you have like 3 seconds more to spam attacks, THEN dodge, I can see why some folks might have trouble dodging it...
Same goes for Blizzard which tells you it's coming, then some people have a hard time seeing the flash to begin with mixed with the ice animation and the big block of ice...
Both are easily dodgeable, but the yellow is not as pronounced so some folks, I'd guess don't bother dodging it or know you can.
Body Slam is tougher since it can come in a chain so you may be using your charge move at that time.
