not yet...a few hours before it does

The event starts at 1:00 pm pacific time. Hope this helps.

Can I ask where did you get that? I can't find it on the official post notes, it just says on the afternoon...

It really amazes me that after almost a year after the game has released they can't even say an exact time for the events to start and end...

its just an assumption since niantic always lately start the events pst around 1pm
