Niantic travels the Silph Road!

Two new travelers of the Silph Road Reddit community are NianticGeorge and NianticIndigo who are part of the Niantic official support team. So we know Niantic hears our input and is now actively participating in the community.

What's the first thing IndiGO addressed? Cheating / Spoofing

You guys think this is a good step for Niantic or will Reddit run them off?

This is overdue in my opinion. Niantic doesn't have a public message board/forum so at least this is a step in the right direction. Hopefully they aren't a couple of interns that won't get anything done.

Long overdue...but great to see them starting to engage with the community.

Do you have a link to any of their posts?

Thanks...I had just located it, but appreciate the link, as I am sure others do too.

Late to the party, typical Niantic...but I do applaud this step. At the very least I just hope that our major issues and concerns are being heard. I quit the game for 2 months and as a pretty big spender on the game, it would be in Niantic's best interest to know why.

Ehhhh not sure since it seemed like the developers got their feelings hurt by this "toxic" community when that save your candies guy said when interviewed last month but hopefully this means they'll be more involved with the community.

Hmm... I don't think that guy was qualified for his job (PR? LOL). This, however, is a step in the right direction - it finally occurred to them how important PR is?!

I'm sure they are a little overwhelmed lol. Hopefully they can give some clarity to some simple questions that niantic has never addressed.
