Nanab Berries

For which species are Nanab Berries more useful than Razz Berries?

I'd say none. The most useful species I find to toss nanabs at is ledybas.

One time I threw on a lucky egg (not for mass evolving but for catching and swiping) and I found mons to e much more hyper than usual. I was fortunate at the time as I had not yet cleared my bag of nanabs and was able to use them to both conserve resources and to gte more catches. I remember a lot of zubat and magnemites in particular

I'd say flying Pokemon that move around like crazy. Zubat, Goldbat, Crobat, and Yanma automatically come to mind.

I only throw them at Yanma.

Pidgey and rats etc...it is not like I am going to use any other berry on them.
It also means that they don't jump around so I use less pokeballs on the basics.
...and it gets rid of nanabs quickly.

About the only ones I fiind them useful on are flying pokemon like zubat, ledyba and yanma because they move all around the place

Nanab = Useless

I use them on low CP floating pokemons, this way I won't waste extra balls.

I use them to increase my chance of claiming a "First throw bonus" and to save pokeballs.

Agreed. Nanabs are far less valuable than anything else, but they aren't entirely useless. Perhaps eight Nanabs are equal in value to one Pokeball and 50XP, assuming you don't mind taking the time to use it.

To the original question: Nanab Berries are far more valuable than a Razz Berry when catching a 10-30CP anything - most likely Pidgeys, Ledybas, Sentrets, Weedles, etc.

To expand on this a bit, they are most useful on low CPs with a slow moving catch circle. Having to wait longer for the circle to get small enough for a great/excellent throw generally makes it more likely that a last second headbutt or jump will thwart your first ball. Using the Nanab berry helps prevent that.

I use them to free bag space. When the bag is full I throw them away, voilà.

I just use them on any mon that I see. Although it is more effective for flying mon, I can still catch the flying mon without nanab. I just want to quickly use it up so that I have more space to store other things.

I have thrown exactly 1 nanab berry. I threw it at a floating Hoppip to see what effect it would have.
Since then, I have immediately trashed all nanab berries. They are useless.

I use them on anything hard enough to catch that I throw a great ball at it, but easy enough that it doesn't also need a razz berry. So high-level rats and such get most of mine, and it does help prevent those annoying encounters where the pokemon attacks or jumps with perfect timing to dodge eight throws in a row.

I use them on zubats and gastly and generally anything that starts moving all over the place

Could be useful for swinhubs. I notice they do that twirl. I find those berries extremely pointless
