There is this one gym that is very very close to my home, let's just refer it as Gym A. Gym A has never been dominated by any of the 3 teams before. I usually woke up in the morning, walk a bit to this gym, take it over from Team Valor to get 10 more coins in addition to the coins I could've just collected even if I didn't take Gym A, then claim my coins. In the afternoon, usually Gym A is taken over by Team Instinct and near midnight Team Valor will claim it back before I claim Gym A again in the morning. This WAS the typical cycle before 10 fucking Team Instinct cheaters claimed Gym A. It's been 3 days I wake up in the morning and just claim whatever coins I would get since 10 fucking Team Instinct cheaters put 10 fucking 2400-2900 blisseys in Gym A 3 days ago. I can't prove these guys are cheaters, but I'm 99% sure that they are. These same players are now occupying some gyms in my area with 10 fucking blisseys in each gym. I live in South East Asia and considering the low enthusiasm of playing PoGo here (I started to play with 10+ friends but now only 2 of us are still playing), at least legitly, I know there is barely any chance that 10 players from a same team would group up outside, raid gyms outside, prestige the gym against 1 blissey, then put the other 9 blisseys once the prestige points are enough. I just won't believe that was the case even if it is possible (in my country). I believe they did those INSIDE their home of grouped up at one of their homes. I tried to google "how to spoof gyms" and found nothing. There are people who understand how to battle gyms from home and niantic should do something about it. I'm thinking about leaving this slowly-developed game. I have a stronger proof of gyms spoofers, some day last week I prestiged a gym from lvl 7 (barely) to lvl 8 and someone else claimed my spot, then I went to prestige to lvl 9, same thing happened, then finally I got my spot after prestiging to lvl 10. So basically I prestiged from lvl 7 to lvl 10 alone because 2 spoofers took my spot. Nobody aside from me was there.
That's really annoying, I know.
Recently, my brother and I have connected to a group of players, who don't spoof but share their account among them. I don't know this is considered cheaters or not, but by doing this they can catch top IVs pokemons, tear down lvl 10 gyms then build them up to level 10.
If you don't mind joining these type of players, I'm sure you know how to find and connect to them (if they organise such a group in your city).
Yeah, getting gym swiped is the most annoying thing for me...I've been swiped multiple times and if you prestige enough, it will happen to you as well. This is also why I don't prestige against tons of Blisseys because even if I don't mind using the potions or time, I just know I will be swiped and feel bad after that...
To get rid of the 10 Blissey spoofer gym, the best way is normally just knock out the last Blissey, then hope someone from the same team prestiges 1 time, puts something HIGHER than the blisseys, and you go back and knock out the other...Unfortunately, this will take some time unless it's in a very busy area.
Repeat till all the Blisseys are gone...then tear down the gym.
Can't really win against spoofers unfortunately (or bots which can be worst).
The sudden overnight 10 Blissey gyms probably are bots. Time and resources don't mean anything other than a little extra bandwidth and computer cycles.
If it is not bots, then it is probably at least a little bit of multi accounting. They probably used some form of bubblestrat to build up the gym, then kicked out the bubbler, and built it up the last bit for the 10th Blissey.
