Prestiger?

I hear that wigglytuff is a good prestiger I'm thinking about powering this guy up around 1500ish CP anyone have experience? Seems like he would be good against tyranitar and dragonite not sure who else. Does anyone use him for prestiging?

He is one of the best generalist prestigers in the game.
I have a collection ranging from 1200ish-1500ish.

My Pound/PR Wigglytuff does very well against Dragonites with DB or DT, but SW is just as common on defence, so it takes less time to scroll down to select my double-ice Cloyster and Jynx.

Think I should bring him up to like 1550ish or 1350-1400?

Depends on your local gym metagame and how much stardust you have.

Dust isn't a problem I have enough. My gym meta here is defenders ranging from 2500+ Garys and dragonite and snorlax defenders mostly

Then go ahead and power up your Wigglytuff.

Thanks this is just the first good iv and moveset wiggytuff I've gotten a I wasn't sure if ppl use him or if I should use this one to power up

I somehow managed to acquire two 100% IV Wigglies over the course of playing, one with P/HB and one with P/DG. I couldn't resist powering them up as far as I could, which does seriously limit their efficiency as prestigers, but in this current bug-ridden dodge-death-loop gym meta, having these two 1700+ Wigglytuffs is like having an insurance policy for when I encounter friendly gyms with Snorlaxes on the bottom.

I'm sure there's a sweet spot for CP depending on your local meta, but for sure you will find use for this guy when prestiging.

I might be late to this party, but....
I have 2 groups of Wigglys.
Group 1 they are all between 1150 and 1400 CP and I use them as Prestigers against Gyrados, Lapras and Snorlax.
Group 2 are all higher up to 1600 CP, and I often throw one or more into my attaker list as generalists.
They work very well.

I have an army of Wigglies, ranging from CP ~900 to ~1500. I prefer the P/HB moveset, but PR and DG work pretty well too. I usually use Wigglies for prestiging against Snorlax, and also as a generalist sixth prestiger that can slot in against any defender if one of my specialists falters prematurely. Having a Wiggly in the lineup helps me avoid having to use a specialist for the wrong job if things don't go according to plan.
