Evolve or wait?
I hatched a Chansey during easter event that is 96%IV, at this point I am at 8 stable gyms so don't need any more defenders or attackers, just saving dust for gym rework.
But with Chansey I have the doubt if I should evolve her or wait...Anyway don't have enough candies to bring her to a "usable" level (I have 75 candies), but I am more worried about possible new moves being introduced with next update or nerfing the actual Blissey DG move...
What would you do? Evolve her or wait? Do you think that there is a chance that with gym rework we gonna get new movesets or a nerf to the actual ones? I know that at this point we can only wonder but what would you do in my situation?

While we can't be sure of anything increasing the candy cost of an evolution like Blissey could make her almost impossible to get...A part from Valentine's event Chansey is one of the rarest mon, even more rare than Snorlax, 100 candies would be a huge amount to get a Blissey...I really hope they don't do that.
Actually, he has a valid point. In generation 4, happiny is released, which would make blissey the 3rd of its evolution line. The question is though, would they make it similar to the current 25 candies --> 100 candies, or do what was implemented with pichu --> pikachu --> raichu (25 --> 50 candies)?
I think it will continue to stay at 50, even when gen 4 is released. I think chansey candies are very rare, as well as I think the fact that the second and third evolutions if its line (chansey and blissey) existed generations before happiny, just as the power-up cost for raichu remained at 50, despite the addition of pichu.
That is the problem, I don't have enough candies even if I evolve her to enjoy her at all if a nerf will come in a month with gym rework...WIth 75 candies I can only evolve her and take to around 2200 CP, to enjoy her I would need her to be at least 2.9-3K CP on my area, that would take months of walking with buddy system...
My fear is that I evolve now and she get a nerf or a new charge move better than Psychic and DG (if they nerf DG), I would have spent 50 candies to evolve a completely useless mon when I already have a maxed out Blissey with good moves...
I wouldnt take the risk if I were you.
- You already have a high CP blissey with great moves and IV
- You said yourself that you are in no need for another defner
- You wouldnt be able to use it properly as you just stated it. "months of walking 2.2k etc."
- Maybe there will be new moves for blissey which are even more powerful
I also have a good Chansey to evolve but have been too scared to do so.
I definitely want to evolve mine with the current move pool options because psychic and fairy moves tend to counter Blissey's counters. I have decided that anything with Pound will be a bit disappointing because I'm not after an attacker. I'll be happiest with ZH/DG, but I'll consider anything with ZH a success.
I'm hopeful that Psychic will be buffed in some way come the next rework because of it's total inferiority to Future Sight. Probs not but I'm hopeful.
If I end up with P/HB it won't be a total disaster. So I figure I'm up around 65% chance of getting an acceptable outcome, that's a whole lot better than most other evolves atm. Even a P/DG will attack well into Dragonites and Tyranitars, hence not a TOTAL disaster lol.
I will absolutely be evolving mine before the next gym rework. I have 65 candies which will take her to around 2200cp like yours, I just want a shot at the current movesets.
Some strong arguments in the above posts - if you don't have enough candy to make her useful at present and you already have a good defensive Blissey then the decision is not so clear. x)
