Tyranitar B FB worths dust and candies?!

Bad evolved... Tyranitar with B FB... I suppose to use it for offense. Worth dust and candies to power up? Thanks.

It's at level 20 now. My first evolved one...

I got the same. Just a Pokedex entry, don't waste candies on it.

I was crunching some numbers yesterday and this got me thinking. FB on offense has some problems. But it seems to compare decently in raw strength to the other charge moves and more particularly crunch. I guess the catch right now is that fire is super effective against bug, steel, grass, and ice but you are unlikely to see any mons of those types in gyms right now. However if the gym shakeup drags Lapras and Steelix (among others) into the mix of defenders how good could this moveset be as a somewhat specialized one? ( Noting that steel hits rock effectively)

Somehow in the same line of B/Fb being worthy:
https://www.pokebattler.com/rankings/attackers/levels/35/defenders/levels/40/strategies/DODGE_WEAVE_CAUTIOUS/DEFENSE?sort=OVERALL&view=SINGLE
Is top 11, after 7 Dragonites, 2 Tyra and 1 Blissey, right before HP Vap.
Questions:
1. Maybe someone can help me understand what Dodge all Weave is :): "Dodge All Weave - This uses an attack pattern strategy that assumes that the worst case 1.5s delay between attacks could happen every time. This strategy should be reproducable by a human."
2. If I remember correctly (I can't find the source for ranking details) for attackers ranking pokebattlers makes an average vs. all pokemons. If so indeed FB one benefits of his theoretical (as in you will not encounter in real game) fire advantage.

I would hold off, but it isn't horrible. I caught a wild one (2300 cp) with that moveset and horrible IVs, but it still wrecks on offense if you do need a viable Snorlax and Blissey counter. A good option against Eggy if they have those in your area, just watch out for solar beam...

I was in the same situation, rolled B+FB on my first evolution. I chose to roll again, hoping for either B+C or B+SE (which I was fortuitous to obtain!). I personally would hold onto it (fire blast covers 3 of 7 of tyranitar's weaknesses) in case it proves to be useful later in the game's development.

It's not bad on offense, but for the amount of time it takes to execute fire blast, I believe crunch and stone edge are more efficient. Now if tyranitar had access to flamethrower, I would have powered the first one up (similar dps, just requires half the time).
