What do you guys walk with these days?

Because Chansey is only 50 candies to evolve and has a more rare egg hatch rate than some others like Larvitar and Dratini she is the most cost efficient to walk when value and strength are factored in. Snorlax is tied or a close second since he has zero evolution cost and is in an even more rare tier of egg drop.
All of that out of the way my need is to be able to take down Blisseys most efficiently. Getting a second B/SE Tyranitar would be a complete gamechanger for my 6 slots to take down Lv10 gyms. So I am walking a Larvitar. Currently at 764 km with my current one after evolving the previous two.
Just out of curiosity, what does your average day look like for scheduling in walking to get that much distance on your buddy? Personally I'm not in a great place to get a lot of walking in every day (I work so much that I usually cap out around 5 or 6 km at most), but I'll take any ideas on how to improve my walking distance most efficiently, even if it means rescheduling my day to accommodate it.
My only chansey... need 12 more candies for blissey.
After that it will be my only larvitar, and it will be a long walk for about 100 candies as they almost never hatch (got it during the Easter event) and are never found in the wild here.
After that, I'll probably walk a snorlax, but who knows? It will be a while.
