Gyarados DT/C

I have a gyarados with DT / C, I liked it a lot in defense, it always sends Crunch and it has damage until relatively high and I am seriously thinking of giving powerup in it, what do you think? Already tested

Becomes boring, because every time you need to dodge

The most important part of a Gary power up is it's Ivs. If it's 90+ I'd power it up and stick it in a gym.

CP won't be as high as it potentially could be, but if you like the moveset and high IV Karps are rare go for it.

yes but the health awful. one hit by tyranitar with stone edge ez kill. most gyms the most easiest to take down are gyms filled with gyarados and thanks youre one of them putting glass cannon in gyms makes every ones life easy

Every pokemon has a weakness. A Gyarados with dt/c is far more annoying than any Rhydon or Vaporeon.

Yup, I powered mine with same moveset to 30.5. Good placement in gyms and holds pretty well.

Dt/C is by far the best defensive moveset for Gary in my experience. Bite is a worthless move on defense, but dt hits hard. Crunch also hits really hard and can be tricky to dodge. I would power it up.

DT Gyarados are great defenders. Can't say the same for bite or DB Gyarados. Crunch is not the best, but with DT it's still worth to power up. My advice, there is no point to power up a Gyarados halfway...max it out if you want it to be efficient

I honestly like Crunch much more as an attacker than Hydropump...due to the dodge bug.

A Hydropump will pretty much always knock out my Jolteon while I can deal with 3 Crunch Gyarados in a row with 1 Jolt.
