Probably Espeon for pure Psychic, Eggy for general utility.

Exeggutor doesn't have a good psychic charge move...They still need to make Psychic 2 bars...

Are you looking for an attacker/prestiger or defender? Alakazam is only for attacking/prestiging and is somewhat harder to get.

Ofc, he's a glass cannon but if you're able to dodge properly, you will have a lot of fun with him. I use mine all the time.

Extrasensory/Solar Beam Eggy is truly one of the most useful mons in the game right now. I have found it to be one of the only truly reliable prestigers against big Blisseys, which is becoming a major need in gyms. I am lucky to have four of these guys between 2000 and 2350 and feel no need to power them up. They whomp on Snorlax too.

My vote goes to the egg man too (assume you get solar beam). It is not resisted by many relevant defenders (notable exception: Dragonite double resists)

you want an eggy but not as a psychic if you don't have one get one (ES/SB unless you have C/SB)

for pure psychic espeon isn't hard to get and the 10 attack you lose is worth it for the extra health, it still hits like a truck and it's a tiny bit (only a tiny bit) more forgiving.

Egg...but his charge move is not the best.
