How to prestige against the pink nurse?
Lv.33 Team Instinct member. I was on the way home today, walked past a lv8 instinct gym (needed 10000 prestige pts to level up to lv 9; from 30000 to 40000). Where I'm from, gym turnover rate is ridiculously high. So you can imagine how happy I was to have finally found a sturdy gym to put a mon in. The only problem? The lowest two mons were Blisseys, cp 2500+ and 3000+ respectively. I tried using mons half their cp to gain 1000 prestige points, but ended up either timing out or getting murdered. Gave up soon after, having gotten less than 2000 prestige points.
Any strategies on how to better, and faster, prestige against these high cp godly creatures? Should I have gone into battle with my 3000 cp mons instead? (Wanted to, but balked at the thought of gaining 100 prestige pts each time). I don't have a lot of prestiging experience.
Thks.

What is the third mon after the Blissey? For the purpose of the prestige exercise I'd recommend using whatever as low CP as possible to take down the Blissey, but you should really focus your attention to the mons AFTER the blissey, assuming you have taken them out.
Try doing something such that you can trade in 2 prestigers lives for taking out one Blissey. That should usually be possible with dodging. You can probably get away with 2 weaker mons against the 2500 Blissey, but the 3000 one will need some serious firepower to take down. You will definitely need two 1.8k+ fighting mon to take it down, I'd not aim for the 1000 points.
If you only aim to take down the Blisseys, then you'll be stuck there for a long time. If you go for 1-2 mon after the Blissey as well that would shorten your time needed A LOT.
The first two mons were Blisseys, then two Snorlax, two Dragonites, two Tyranitars.
My problem now is with prestige pts. As stated, the two Blisseys will need four weaker mons to take out. I'll only have two mons left to take out the rest of the field, which is hard. Will it be better if I take out the nurses first with my 3000 cp mons, then save prestigers for the mons behind them? Will it then be faster to level up?
Thing is, my team is depleted just by going through the first two, if I were to use mons that were 50-80% of Blisseys cp. If I started off with similar cp eggs, cp 2500ish, maybe I'll have more of a chance. Then again, it'd be easier using my Dragons, all over 3000, which then limits the max prestige you might get.

So be sure. It wasn't hard to find. As for your question, you either do what guy above said, or use pokemon that will not give you 1000 presige, but something around 700, or 800. That means not choosing 50% CP pokemon but pokemon that have around 70-80% of blissey CP. Poliwrath and machamp are obviously the best choices for this. Alakazam, Espeon will work well too, but they won't be able to finish the blissey probably, you will need some kind of backup. Solarbeam Eggy, FS+OH Flareon. Everything with high damage output.
As for one of your questions stated in your comment, no, the prestige gain is dependent on the ratio between your mon with HIGHEST CP and the FIRST gym pokemon, so there is no point in killing Blissey with 2,8k pokemons just to use 1000 raticates later.
To Webh3223 - even if you use 3000cp mons on the first two and then switch to prestigers for the rest you won't get the 1000 prestige as all the prestige is set at your highest mon you bring to battle.
So if you bring a 3000CP mon to battle and the rest 1500 you won't get credit for beating anyone with the 1500cp ones. It will all be determined by your 3000 mon.
So you just keep fighting the 2500 blissey with 1500CP mons and take what you can get and repeat over and over just taking out the first blissey. Or you battle everything with higher CP mons and see how far you get.
Either way I wouldn't have bothered with that gym unless you have 1 - a ton of time to waste and 2 - a ton of potions to blow through.
There is no easy answer here.
The problem with these gyms is it'd take a while to prestige and if someone wanted to snipe your spot, it'd be too easy to do...
It'll be so very frustrating after getting the 10k prestige, and just end up getting sniped afterwards (I was just sniped earlier this week, but thankfully, not in a Blisseyx2/Snorlax gym...) that it's probably not worth the returns.
As for how to prestige, you just attack with a "core" team of level 30 mons like C/SB Eggs, Machamps, Alakazam, etc...All those sit around 2400-2500CP at level 30 or so.
Clear out the Blisseys and bring whatever else you have less than 2400 or 2500 and clear out the as much as you can...A single C/SB can take out 1 Blissey solo assuming you dodge the charge move and don't get lagged so bring a couple if you have them, then use Vaps for the Snorlax which are not as great as Machamp, but 2400-2500 Vaps are fairly tanky and should have no trouble (I normally prestige with 1200-1300 Vaps).
Generally, with gym sniping, this exercise is not worth it.
In your case, I would only prestige against the first Blissey and ignore the rest. Using 2-4 fighting types less or equal to 1250 CP. High IV hatched (level 20) primeape are exactly in the range. You'd secure 1000 prestige every 90 seconds. In any case is going to be a very time consuming prestiging (and revive consuming).
