Other night some guys beated gym down via gps hacks.
They placed pokemons inside the gym and then i beated it (i live next to this gym) and then same guys beated it again and placed pokemons and i did same, then they left scene.
This happend when our gym was level 10.
Now this gym was alrdy level 6 and its beated down again but no pokemons inside the gym.
Why anyone would beat gym down but not place pokemons inside???
Is this gym being attacked by bots or something????
Some people do this to weaken it for later or if they collected their coins already, let low levelers put in stuff for fun...I do it for that reason myself.
It's also to save revives, but with the double drops, that's less of an issue currently. After the event, it maybe done less, but if you don't battle a lot, you'll overflow with potions and revives soon enough.
Yeah, if I need to make room in inventory for more pokeballs and there is an enemy gym nearby, I will sometimes fight to use potions and revives instead of just throwing them away. If I do take the gym all the way down to 0, and I have already cashed out for the day, and there is no one else on my team nearby to also jump in the gym, then I will not bother putting a single pokemon in.
