What you're about to witness is what a Top 12 from a legit Valor player from Jersey who I played w for a few months. Level 39 still, should've been 40 in February, he stopped playing because one of his parents are ill.
He's a doctor (and great guy) so his resources were endless for PoGO. He runs eggs all day & night, and drives, so his hatch count is like 8k or something crazy (maybe more). When I met him, all he did was catch Dratini primarily, nothing else. And 2 - 3 months ago his Dragon medal was at 1200, mines is at 700 to date. This dude might have the strongest mon collection in the world.
Anyway, I love when people see his Top 12, because they go crazy! And often think he spoofs, but not a chance. Could you imagine what you would have and how many of them you'd have if you hatched 24/7 nonstop / drove / played every night?

It is really impressive to see without any doubt, but one thing does not takes the other, this army is almost "useless", the max you can get from all this thousands of dolars spend is 100 coins per day, a lot of people can get that reward without spending 1/1000 of his time/effort and money.
Also when pvp comes out if he plays his team will be sooo weak, just 2 Lapras or Cloyster or Piloswine and goodbye his 6 3500+ Dragonite army.
I really don't get it how someone can enjoy the game playing like that, on a car and only spending thousands to hatch eggs, if you saw the excitment I get each time I saw a Dratini on my nearby...Feeling like a small child with a new toy, I doubt he ever felt like that on this game.
Anyway, as I said before, not want to demerit this at all, AMAZING ARMY.
Personal taste cannot be argued, so your opinion hollow, because it doesn't matter what he spent, it made him happy. That's part of him having fun. That part matters. Plus he's an old man, lol. He can't run down like the younger guys can.
Per PvP, try not to add your current gym mechanics to that in a hurry, your Ice types ONLY do that because defenders don't move. That's the truth. We'll see how good Ice types really are, when DTxO is firing off landing, and 1 charge Blizzards are dodged.
And I doubt you know what a mans shoes feel like till you put them on.

So Blizzard can be dodged but Outrage can't? In pvp everyone will dodge, and Ice will still have advantage over Dragon, Lapras will kill Dragonite, and when you fire an Outrage takes more time to cast than Blizzard, that is the fact. Another fact is that you are comparing a 2 bar move vs a 1 bar move, you should compare Outrage with Ice beam, not with Blizzard.
Anyway we are too far from pvp, only time will tell.
As for the other point, I don't know how old is that player, but I am not a kid. The excitment of the game can be different to everyone, but is not age related, an old man can feel the same seeing a Dratini than a kid, even if he can't run to it, I am talking about the feeling of seeing something different and rare for you vs the feeling of pay for it, the feeling to walk to a spot to get a mon vs drive to it. That is what the game is for me.
He will never feel the same excitement having 200 Dragonite than someone that has 1 or 2 and sees one on their nearby, that is a fact.

I know, man. Endless iv's. It's cool, I can dig it. He put in his work, he just was alsways hatching while doing it, lol. Funny, we call him the "Dragon Tamer." ? People have been trying to befriend him for months because when trading comes out he'll be the guy who's a sweetheart and trades you a Lapras for Weedle. He's that giving.
To be honest, I am more impressed with him being a doctor. He can save lives but apparently his imaginary dragonites can't. I guess he just got bored with this and find another things more useful to pursuit.
Yesterday, I found one of classmates in graduate school just got an assistant professor position in UTD. But I am still working on my PhD and catching Pokémon everyday. I kind of feel sad about my life:(

If his dragon count is 1200+, two monthes ago and "drives" I would guess he at least uses a Radar Site., Twitter Feed, or some sort of 3rd party info site.
you're talking a huge outlier in the number of dragons vs the amount of xp.
Heck honestly I would suspect at 700+ your using some info sharing site as well.

I walk a Water Biome, every day. And I find it completely unbelivavle you are getting a Dratini every 5-10 minutes without having a sorting site to see them.
The in-game tracker is crap and would easily be filled by your "nearby" meaning your only getting 9 pokestops. So ifs not close to that pokestop your not going to get it on tracker.
The problem is the percentages (your candy vs your level, and percent of xp you have got from Dragons.) + spawn points.
Again, I won't say your cheating, but I also believe in Math too much to accept your post either. The probability factor is too off
Your game experience is just not what we experience. That's all. Can't break it down anymore. You walk, he drives, you play in the middle of where? We are in New York City. The difference is huge!
Look at Trainer Tips Nick, he plays in Long Beach California, outside of Los Angeles, and LB is small city. He currently is in Sidney, Australia (a large city) and the rare spawns and amount of good mon there are blowing his mind, and he's documenting it.

There is no real way to know. To scream "cheater" and crawl into the corner out of jealousy isn't knowing either. It's just what toddlers do when playing children's games.
Why accuse before asking for info? That's just bullshit. Period. And it's inspired by childish jealousy over an online game. No matter how crazy folks think it is to spend on an "imaginary" game, it makes even less sense to be angry because someone is doing it better than you in an "imaginary" game.
