Has today just been crazy for you too?
So this morning I spent working on my research paper while listening to the Route 225 theme from Diamond and Pearl. I then thought I'd take a little break and so I put a lure module on the nearby pokestop and waited to see what came up. I then nearly jumped out of my chair after seeing a dratini on my nearby, since I haven't seen one since before all the trackers were taken down. So, I quickly packed my bag and ran. There are were only 3 water biomes relative to where I was, so I knew that it could only be in a few places. As I was making my search, the plot thickened: a wild snorlax was now nearby. The dratini also disappeared off my nearby so then I changed my plans to finding the Snorlax. I eventually found it, but after getting a few great curveball throws with an ultra ball it bolted which I'm still salty over now. I thought I'd vent by going to a nearby gym and taking it down for the coins and stardust. The snorlax I could've caught was sitting there, there's no way to 100% prove this but the person was the same level as me (28) and the CP of the Snorlax was the exact same. The dratini actually came back and I caught it but still... what a day lol. Has anyone else had a day like this or has today been crazy for you as well?
tl;dr - A wild dratini and snorlax appeared within a 3 minutes walk of each other. The snorlax ran but I got the dratini. I'm salty.

Nothing that exciting but in amongst the dross I caught a Lv30 'wonder' Pidgey that evolved with a good moveset, a Lv 25 95.6% Parasect with perfect moveset (saves me wasting candy on one of the other 6 and it eats Slowbro's:) ) and my favourite a lv29 85.6% Magnetite that evolved with a perfect moveset. Not stunning fare but they all serve nice niches without wasting dust.
Caught a wild Dragonite Thursday morning. I woke up at 5:30 am with this weird feeling that there would be something big nearby (I have several spawn points I can reach on my house). I open my app and there is nothing too exciting on my sightings. I set my phone back down and when it buzzes I glance over and see something big and yellow. I thought it was probably just a ninetails or something but I picked up the phone and my heart skipped about 20 beats. The Dragonite was only 1203 cp and was caught fairly easily with <10 ultra balls. I was shaking so bad while I tried to catch it haha. The last time I was this excited for a catch was when I found a wild Charizard in the first few weeks of the game.
