Which Pokemon could get better movesets in future?
Which Pokemon have a good chance of learning new moves (in Pokemon Go) in the future that are better than their current moves? For example: Machamp, Gyarados, Dragonite learned new moves post Gen 2 that are better than their old ones.
If I already have good movesets on a current mon (say DT/O, DT/H, DB/DC on my Dragonite), I think it may be a good idea to hold on to other highIV ones for better future movesets.
Note: Pokemon Go is my introduction to Pokemon; I have no knowledge of the older games. Hence hoping the more knowledgeable trainers can make intelligent/informed speculation here.

Yeah, as was said above, I would wait for the gym rework. In the main series games a mon could have 4 moves, so really it typically was more about being creative with pairing different moves. There were lots of cool strategies to be made from creatively choosing synergistic movesets. I mentioned battling Lance of the Elite 4 in a previous post and going off of that example again, Gyrados can learn Thunder Wave which would paralyze an opponent for some random number of turns, then while you were paralyzed Gyarados would use Dragon Dance to increase its attack stat a few times before hitting you with a Hyper Beam (which was a physical move so it gets a significant boost from each Dragon Dance). Another good example was battling Slowbro with Amnesia and Withdraw which effectively beefed up Slowbro's already amazing defense/special-defense stats and made Slowbro an actual tank. I had Slowbro on my team for that strategy and putting the opponent to sleep or confusing/paralyzing them would allow you to use Withdraw and Amnesia a bunch of times and then you would annihilate 6 mons in a row after that, it was a great strategy. The point being there were different strategies to be used but it was only possible through cleverly combining movesets, something which is really lacking in PoGo currently.
I would like Gyarados' Crunch be replaced by Hurricane, I mean in the original games, Gyarados learns Hurricane by just leveling up, without TM. I know Gyarados also learns Crunch by just leveling up without TM, but would it be better in pokemon go if Gyarados gets at least one more STAB move? He is water/flying-type and yet has no flying move. DT/Crunch is not that bad since the moveset hits hard on defense, but Bite/Crunch? The moveset is only useful on Tyranitar. Imagine if Bite/Crunch on Gyarados is replaced with Bite/Hurricane. Although I still prefer hydro pump but at least getting hurricane on gyarados isn't heartbreaking like getting B/C on him. Come on we fckin collect at least 400 magikarp candies to evolve one! We deserve at least one more STAB move on him. About PvP, I think it's about time niantic launched it. I think there's something fishy in giving solar beam to typhlosion (cover water, ground, rock-type weaknesses), focus blast on gengar and alakazam (cover dark-type weakness), fire blast on slowking (cover grass and steel-type weaknesses), wild charge on arcanine (cover water weakness), etc which all seem weird considering current gym meta but could be used as type coverage in PvP to surprise attack your opponents.
