eevolution question?

besides nicknaming my eeves to get espeon and umbreon, i have not been able to get a second one of either of these two. is this bad luck or is eeve not evolving into that species as of yet? i mean i love jolteon and vaporeon but im getting sik of seeing them on the evolve screen.

Answers

Step one: Make an eevee your buddy.
Step two: Walk 10 km (2 candies)
Step three: Evolve during day (Espeon) or night (Umbreon)

DO NOT UN-BUDDY YOUR EEVEE, evolve while it is a buddy.

question because I have an eevee I want to evolve to espeon. Do you have to keep walking all the 10km in one go or can you take a break

not in ONE GO but do not unbuddy it during your 10 km. You wanna be sure that the eevee get at least 2 candies

You can switch, but you need to walk far enough to get at least two candies. If you switch before you get to 5km and receive a candy, then that distance doesn't count.

Also be sure to make it your buddy again before evolving. If it is not your buddy at the time that you evolve it, it will be randomly selected between Vap/Jolt/Flar.
