Just wanted to do a fun post. List you're Top 5 Mon with the most Candy Count because you never evolve these mon, are a candy hoarder, or just don't use them.
1. Gastly 1,295 candies

5. Drowzee 783 candies

Bonus: Eevee 662 candies

As you can see I was busy for the Halloween event. Haha.

I got as far as 800 pidgey candies then burned them all during Halloween for the double transfer bonus.

I just use them to evolve rubbish then transfer (still Lvl29). Might not bother once I reach Lv30 as the benefits of being higher level are so reduced.

So this person showed me 3000+ or 4000+ dratini candy. I couldn't believe my eyes while I was living only a few km further and didn't even evolve one dragonite so yet.

I just use all my common candies to rush XP.

Am I the only one that doesn't bother catching things if I don't need them? I I catch pidgeys/weedles till I have about 700 and evolve them plus egg hatches I have.

I've thought about doing that, but then I consider that the most valuable resource in this game is stardust, so it's probably in my best interest to catch as many mons as possible. It helps that I have a couple of desk portals at work, so I can farm balls all day long...

They made balls incredibly expensive in the store, but when I get a chance to use stops they spit them out easily.

Yeah I would never buy balls in the store - between the college campus I work on and the nearby museums, art installations, and cemeteries (one easily has 50+ stops I can hit on a single 10 minute driving loop), balls are a cheap commodity. I know the reality is different for rural players though. :(

Yeah, stardust is a way more important reason than candy to catch common pokemon.

Regarding buying pokeballs in the store, I think buying should give you a mix of the available pokeballs that you have unlocked. I still wouldn't buy them myself, but it would add significantly more value.

I try to go on mass pigeon/worm/rat evolving sprees whenever I get above 500 candies for them, but what with the recent events (and the fact that evolving takes sooooo long) I'm accumulating more candies than I can use. Also I'm a bit bitter that some people have hundreds of Poliwag candies when I haven't even gotten enough to evolve my first Poliwrath. >.>
