Huge event coming this summer possibly

Pokémon hub posted a article which I'll leave a link below if anyone wants to read it. Basically in short terms, one of the Pokémon go hub readers from Japan got there hands on a recent interview from niantic's Japanese staff and was able to translate it and in this article one of the general managers from niantic's Japanese staff said "A huge event is planned for this summer and engineers are working hard now so new functions can be implemented into the game." Haven't seen anyone post about it yet so decided to make a post and see what people's thoughts may be on this possible event. If it is true this is happening, even though it seems legit. This would be one of the most hype events happening this year for PoGo. I know I'm getting ahead of myself with this since we're already having a event right now but we gotta look at the future of Pokémon go and if that's the future, it's looking bright.

I have no doubt there will be a huge summer event, but I wish they'd just implement that gym change so we can readjust our rosters. If we have to wait for summer for that would be very disappointing..

The only reason I could possibly see that happening is because it takes awhile to redesign in game stuff adding new data to the game and then you have to test it out and fix bugs/glitches. But I do agree the faster they release the new gym rework the better.

Did they announce that they'll fix the dodge bug? Almost stopped playing because it wasn't fun anymore, stayed at home yesterday.

No info on that yet but with a gym rework on the way it could be possible they will fix that issue.

1) Ban spoofers

2) Rework the gym system

3) Release gen 3

That's pretty much what 99% of non-spoofers want to see happen. So get on the case Niantic!

4) fix bugs

5) Make legendaries available on any place and for anyone that plays the game, not only for big cities in Japan or USA.

Don't get me wrong, I don't want them to be easy to catch, but 99% of the players can't travel to those places to get them and we have the same rights to get them as any other players. As the time goes I can see them making legendaries only on places like Times Square or Tokio just to get money from sponsors or big cities and because it will be a lot easier and less expensive for them to organize those events...

The way it looks, the way there gonna make legendary Pokémon available is by implementing the raid system to do so, so I wouldn't worry about it only being certain places. This is still unconfirmed if or when legendary Pokémon will be released so only time will tell. One thing I think will be good is having big events like the ones they have for Japan but worldwide which they said they were working on so that's cool niantic are trying to give everyone a fair share.
