My midnight Dragonite story ...
... or why I like Pokemon Go so much.
I hope you excuse if I tell you what happened to me tonight instead of asking a question. I'm currently staying in the rural village I was born, where I prefer to play Pokemon Go late at night to avoid all the people (in fact, I know many of them, which makes it a bit embarrassing).
This night, I intended to hatch a few eggs and walk the missing 4 km to get my last Larvitar candy to finally evolve my first Tyranitar. Also, a Valor player had kicked all my Pokemon from the local gyms. I hesitated first because of the rain, but then I decided to go outside. Finally I went to one of the gyms which is in the middle of nowhere. It was almost midnight by then and the nearby list showed six trash Pokemon around a Pokestop near this gym. I caught all these Pokemon and walked on to the gym. I realized that the nearby list now showed several Pokemon lurking around the gym - and the third one was a Dragonite!!!
I ran as fast as I could to get the Dragonite. It had CP 2812. My heart was pounding wild as I was standing there in absolute darkness and slight rain. To my astonishment, only one of the six ultra balls I threw at it missed (my earlier wild Dragonite was far more difficult to hit), and it didn't break out from the sixth ball.
Why did I tell you this story? Because it explaines so well why Pokemon Go is the best game I ever played. It gives you that rare, unexpected and absolutely thrilling moments you will probably never forget. There is always this little chance that something really cool could happen, and sure it will happen someday. Not, when you're expecting it or you're waiting for it, but when you have completely different plans in mind.
If I had decided not to go outside or to visit the gyms in reversed order or maybe if I just had walked a bit too fast or too slowly, this nice Dragonite spawn had been completely unnotized by everyone.
(My excitement wasn't lowered after checking the horrible IVs (14 KP/1 ATK/1 DEF) and realizing that my fourth Dragonite has SW again. At least, my Tyranitar got the A-rated defensive moveset).

Fate really have a nice way of making things worse for me :D
There was this one incident when my iPhone decided to take a dive at the toilet. Hence my not having a servicable phone to use and play Pokemon.
The next morning, I was in the train, and I was right beside this auntie (old lady) playing pokemon. The train stopped in one of the MRT stations, and as faith would have it... There's this Snorlax (1028 IV I think... high level pokemon during those times for me) that she caught... Leaving me shaking my head and sighing... Wish I borrowed my wife phone that morning...
