1861 CP Snorlax amazing?

Acxording to the professor, "this is amazing" or "a wonder" but IVs are only 76%. Am I mistaken that IVs should be at least 80% to be considered amazing or a wonder?

You do realize all this kid can do is cut and paste info from other pages on this site....

Did you hatch it or catch it? Double check the numbers, make sure you didn't make a mistake. It should be at least 82%

What are you using to calculate the IVs?

Thank you everyone for the input! Either I was really tired last night after all the walking off this snorlax or the IV site I was using just &@! Up. I checked game press and is either 82 or 84. It was hatched with HP at 15. Cp 1861. Zh and hs. My lick/bs is 1877 (hp 13 or 14) and either 84 or 87% IV. Seems like 16 cp would make more of a difference in the IV but there you are. Looks like lick/bs is still at the top of my list to power up and now have enough candies for full power. Thanks again everyone! I really appreciate all the input!!!

You didn't mention how you know the iv is 76%. Most likely via 3rd party app without input of team leader's appraisal. I'd say trust team leader rather than 3rd party app.

Probably input info wrong into a calculator, explaining why they got a value that did not match the appraisal.

If it's "a wonder", than the IVs are definitely above 80% and you're probably calculating it wrong.
What may be happening is that IVs are not the same as % of max CP. You may have an 82% IV with 76% of max CP if your highest stat is defense. But then again, the CP is definitely above 80%.

If you're using an app like Poke Genie, it will often find more than one possible IV combination, so what it shows you is an average.

So if it has 3 possible IVs and they are 72, 76 and 82, it would show "76%". But If your team leader appraised it as a "wonder" or "simply amazing" or "breathtaking" or whatever, then you know it is the 82% (in this example)

No response from OP? Now I suspect a troll. Just watching as everyone tries to fix his problem. And laughing all the way. That or he entered data into a IV Calc wrong and no longer needs any info.
