EVENT EGG DATA RESULTS 12:07PM 4/15
I found an error in the data I had compiled this morning. A number that was supposed to be changed from 11 to 12 became 112. So I corrected that and the overall hatches came down a bit from what I posted in a thread this morning (not the last compilation thread though, that was correct). Anyway, the latest numbers are in the pic below.
Thoughts: There is really no doubt at this point that the only thing coming from 5K eggs now are gen 2 starters.
Looks like Snorlax, Larvitar, Dratini, Chansey, and Mareep are likely the only thing coming from 10K eggs. If they come from 2K eggs at this point it must be an incredibly rare occurance. Same with other former 10K mons and I'll add something, lots of other former 10K mons have been falsely reported as coming from 2K on other sites. The mons like Mantine are not being reported anywhere really outside of obviously erroneous early reports. Now that most have cycled through egg sets those reports seem to have disappeared. However if that changes or we get reports to the contrary here so be it.
Tons of mons formerly in 5K eggs are not hatching at all like Paras, Nidos, etc. I will count for the next update but the main thing raising rarity percentages is the removal of 20-30 mons from the eggs. Thank God.
The individual rates for each desirable Pokémon appear to range from right around the normal percentage for them to much, much more common. Lapras, Snorlax, and Militank are blowing away their normal rates. Most others are in a small enough sample size to not really be sure yet.
If you would like the data on a specific Pokémon you are looking for please feel free to ask. I'm not going to list everything here though, that's just too much typing lol.
603 hatches recorded ladies and gentlemen. That's quite a good job done by us. Keep them coming in this thread and I'll keep putting the numbers together.

They are erroneous reports. They aren't there from better controlled data. Half of the posts over there still think Larvitar is in 2K.
This is why we did this. To compile fast knowledge. It's also the downside of trying to compile large data sets with a limited amount of time over there right now.
They also just posted that only gen 2 starters are from 5K....an assertation I made in my first data collection post just a few hours after the start of the event.
Believe what you will. I'm just posting what's most reasonable from the available data I have.
Since the event began, I only get 2km eggs, no 5km, no 10km.
During the day I get an egg only rarely (maybe 1 in 10, 1 in 20 spins) but starting about 1 hour before sunset I get an egg almost every spin.
Until now, I haven't hatched any new or particularly desirable pokemon.
