EVENT: How's the Event going?
Trainers,
Many of the Trainers around me, be they 40 or not are losing their damn mind in my city trying to go hard for this event. And I don't blame them. I know a few of them that did 1 million xp+ a day, so far. I did 600k on day 1 and 400k on day 2.
I've decided to scale back, as I purchased eggs / incubators the first day, and used what was left last night. I'm just going to cruise to 40 by the end of the event, I'm not killing myself, I'm trying to enjoy myself, ya know. And I'm not spending no more money, rather buy myself dinner, lol.
Below is a photo of GAP, NYC -- home of the best Trainers in my city. But yeah, how's the event going for you and your friends?

don't have time to play more than usual, and in weekend I usually play less :), but due to double xp and saved evolves I passted to lvl 35 and I'm 500k into it.
I hope to be near 1 mil at the end of the event.
Yesterday I spent all my dust on power ups :), 600k, new DT/H Dragonite, second blissey at lvl 30, 1st at level 36, 2 gya and 3 max vapes. and 100% Gengar hex/ficus blast. got beaten by a 2.6k snorlax. not yet fun :). and went to smash 2 lvl 10 gyms for fun :).
beat highest blissey in city, 3.1k one. 3.4 k tyra on top of it went down from a quarter machamp. A joy :).
realized kc/cc machamp is very dodge effective, I preffer that vs zh/dg blissey instead of my c/cc one, way more easy to dodge :).
besides Gengar I spent witout good outcome dust on an Espeon with Z/psy to pleasure my 9 year old that do not like using confusion :).
Not good so far... Work interfered Thursday and when I was finally ready to do some serious walking in the park on Friday I lost cell service - until midnight. No pokestop or spawns anywhere near my house in this rural area, but I used incense/lucky egg on Wifi and got some XP.
Planning to make up for that today! Hoping to level up (now 32) and get some cool 'mons.
Good luck to all!
I wish I could go hard this event, but I can't for a number of reasons:
1) A ton of family obligations and arrangements.
2) Constant rain in Denmark these days.
3) My hands/wrists are hurting from computer use and playing pogo. They need rest.
So I am mainly focusing on doing a few lucky egg mass evolves. I wish I could be out walking 10+ km a day though.
1000K Xp is absolutely doable fully legit. If you saved up candy for some weeks and go all-in with lucky eggs it is not really not that much.
I have had shorter sessions (5-7h) these two first days and netted 700K first day and 550K the second. Lots of evolving during the walk, and I am now low on candy for several species, so I guess I have to settle for a daily 300K for the rest of the event. It will hopefully be enough for my lvl 40 goal (1.300K away now)
Happy hunting fellows!
I'm trying to grind as much exp i can. Going to head down to that 7 pokestop that's always lured by the park and grind for a bit, maybe make to to level 38 then relax. The good this about this spot is that I don't even have to leave the train platform so I only pay 1 fare. The only annoyance is about every 30 minutes I have to tell a lady trying to sell me books I don't want any damn books lol.
The most exp trainers will get will be from mass evolutions and catches.
wow i see some ppm are really hardcore ones:) in poland weather is now quite bad rains. maximum 10c and most of all as christian country easter is time to bisit families so no time for even looking at mobile. but after monday and after work i wilk spend hour or so walking. but from what i see in my city it still is alot moat ppl stoped even taking any gyms or coming to places with pokemons. maybe next ecent will be at warmer time:D
Good old GAP.... sure do miss it.
I've been doing a steady 1-200k xp per day in the burbs. Planning on going up to SF for a day or two to get in some real XP but am happy with how I'm progressing; should hit 36 by end of event. No particularly good hatches or catches but I've been farming some good dust and candy so can't really complain!
