Can anyone confirm?

Since the event started yesterday I've caught 3 kadabra and about 5 abras. I normally don't see them that often and what's weird is that I didn't go anywhere special haha I've gotten all that on my normal route to work, school and home. I also see them on the radar more.
I didn't know about any increase of spawns so can anyone confirm any other Pokemon increasing in spawns or anything like that?

Caught my second-ever wild Alakazam today, but nothing else in that family since the event started.

Ive hatched about 5 abras from 2K eggs since the event started. Ive never been so disappointed.

I remember when this would have been the bees knees. Time changes the supply and demand in this game quite a bit.

I think there's been an increased rare spawn...
Yesterday, I caught a venusaur and found a meganium (although it fled). Today, I caught a Donphan. 2nd stage evolutions rarely appear in my area so I think they increased the rare spawn rate.

I saw two abras yesterday. They are pretty rare here.

I can confirm. We have abra nest but I can see abra, Alakazam and Kadabra out of that nest.
