EARLY RETURNS ON EGG DATA (and thread for more of your added hatches) 4/14-1:14EST
First off, we have not collected enough data to be sure of everything or anything. One thing that does seem to be apparent is that some Pokemon who have been rare (in the overall tiers of rarity regardless of egg type) have appeared at a rate consistent with most other hatches. Mons like Misdreavus, Lickitung, Koffing, and Militank seem to be appearing as much as any other mons. Mons like Mareep, Chansey, Snorlax, Girafig, seem to be a little less common than others with 4 or less representations while most others range from 7-14. So if you need these mons to fill your dex you may be in luck.
Remember that 10K data will be lagging due to the time it takes to hatch them and register data versus all of these 2k eggs.
Some quick numbers:
340 eggs registered.

2K eggs total-301-88.53%
5K eggs total-19-5.59%
10K eggs total-20-5.88%
Starters have hatched at this recorded rate so far:
Chikorita-11 total-3.24% of total hatches
Totodile-2 total-0.59% of total hatches
Cyndaquil-6 total-1.76% of total hatches
Here are some numbers amongst what are considered often “favorable” hatches by rarity or usefulness :
Larvitar-5-1.47%

Lapras-7-0.59%
Aerodactyl-8-2.35%
Snorlax-3-0.88%
Dratini-3-0.88%
Mareep-2-0.59%
Thus far these “desirables” make up 8.82% of total hatches.
Gen 2 starters make up 5.59% of total hatches.
Other notes:
The few Pokemon that there is only one registered appearance of:
Larvitar-in the 2K (I did not include it in this one in the data set since I could not find a reliable appearance after very early on)
Mareep in 2k and 10K.
Gligar in the 10K
Aipom in the 2K
Ekans in the 2K
Staryu in the 2K
Pinsir in the 2K
With most other 2K mons at or over 5 each I think some of these may have been confused reports of eggs acquired before the event start. We will see.
Notes: The only Pokemon claimed to have hatched among the 10K egg hatches reported:
Chansey (2), Snorlax(3), Dratini(3), Mareep(1), Gligar(1), Larvitar(5), Porygon(5).
Lapras, Aerodactyl, Skarmory, and Militank have all only been reported to have come from 2K eggs thus far and are all coming at a good clip (4-8 each).
The only registered hatches from 5K eggs have been the gen 2 starters.

Working a 5K, but won't get it tonight with the hockey playoffs on.
Also, I know it's RNG, but I spun more than 35 stops today and only got 5 eggs. I had 6 open slots. After I hatched 2 of the new eggs, I tried again and spun 27 stops without getting a single egg.
And I'm the person who reported the 10K Gligar, and I am positive it was acquired after the start of the event..... I had 4 10K's from before the event started, got the Larvitar from the only pre-event 10K that I've hatched. Still have the other 3 10K not in incubators.

Added note: Militank and Skarmory are very lucky gets as you lnow. Congrats.
Noted on the Gligar. I'm adding it tommorow morning or as soon as I get other confirming data. I do not doubt your methods. No offense meant. I'm only trying to protect the data from outliers.
