How strong/effeciency is a C/DP Machamp against Blissey/Snorlax, in comparison to a C/Beam Exeggutor?

Hi fellow trainers,

Since the release of Gen 2 with Blissies dominating all Gyms, I have tried to catch and evolve Machamps, but the results are really frustrating to me, 3 Machamps with the following movesets: BulletPunch/DynamicPunch, Counter/HeavySlam and today is a BulletPunch/HeavySlam.

So I want to have your advice on whether I should try for a real fighting Machamp? Is it worth the effort? How strong is he in comparison to a C/Beam Exeggutor (I luckily have some SolarBeam Eggys prior to Gen 2 release, no Extrasensory up to now), I mean at the same CP.

Don't expect good moves, just evolve them like it's a chore. Evolve low levels too. Make the Murphy's law work for you :D

That site is unreliable. It lists movesets that mix legacy and non-legacy moves that are simply not available.

Of course I would love to have a Dragon Tail/DC Dragonite.

Or a Dragon Breath/Outrage Dragonite. But they do not exist.

I oppose such misinformation.

And the moveset rankings are based on DPS alone.

With lv39 C/DP Machamp, I can beat maxed out Snorlax in 30s, maxed out Blissey in 40s-50s and 12s-15s on T-Rex. You won't regret on this.

This is what I'd love to hear :D.

I can beat a 2900-3000CP Blissey with my two 2100CP Exeggutors, or beat a maxed out Blissey with my 2700CP Exeggutor. I'm just level 35. Abras and Machops are rare in my area so it takes me so long time to evolve an Alakazam or a Machamp.

Eggy gets a boost if the Blissey has ZH and/or Psychic because of the resistance. The attacks aren't as strong as Machamp, but he'll get the job done unless there is a big difference in strength.

I finally decided to blow my dust on a L17, 98IV eggy with C/SB who I had been sitting on for awhile. He's now at 2722 and almost always makes it into my lineup.
