It is the same guy that predicted the water event but your right it's just a possibility it would be cool though you can't lie.

not sure what he is predicting, something with eggs. ok.
I'm all fine with anything that happens. I just grab my surfboard and ride what ever wave niantic creates.

When the water event was announced and started there were crazy spawns all over. Not sure if its a coincidence but I have been seeing a lot of rare and fully evolved mons roaming around. Even if we don't get an event in stoaked that I encountered multiple Onix and Tangela today!

Whoever "predicted" the water event had the actual text from Niantic and the story was that he was hired to translate Niantic's announcement into multiple languages. The announcement was also very specific and seemed to match very closely the style of previous Pokemon GO event announcements.

Tracing all the current reports on Reddit and YouTube, there doesn't seem to be anything except a rumor started by a Twitter account. Looks like wishful thinking more than concrete evidence of an event.

Your right there's not enough evidence to back it up that there's actually going to be a event but like you said the guy that predicted the water event knew this info because he worked for niantic and it's the same guy that made this Reddit post about this event so if he worked for niantic and is predicting what may happen for a Easter event then just maybe this could be legit?

I hope people are not saving those 10k eggs. They will end up hatching a bunch of pine cones. If the Lapras and Snorlax are going to get boosted for 10 K eggs that won't start until the event starts so the eggs you were saving wont be changed. The upside is you will have double pine cone candy ! Who knows what the event will be or if we will even have one.

Most players who are storing 10K eggs for this event don't care about whats inside unless they increase the mareep hatch rate because Lapris got nerfed, and Snorlax no longer have Body Slam . They only care for the double experience so they can use a lucky egg for 4x the experience. I for one will gladly take a bunch of pineco and gligars for the 36,000 EXP on day one then keep hatching eggs throughout the event than start the event with no 10K eggs and loose out on that 36,000 head start.
