Lapras/snorlax egg strategy?

Curious of opinions out there

If niantic makes lapras/snorlax eggs easier to obtain over a possible Easter event would you

1) first visit those stops where you or someone you know obtained a lapras/snorlax in the hopes that these particular eggs will come out more often from those stops

2) first visit those stops that gave you so many dreaded 10k smoochum eggs over valentines

3) doesn't matter, it's all random

4) other ideas

3 for me. I'd just cycle all the eggs possible during the event if I was that into getting them. I would keep a close eye on the Silph road for early returns on how "common" they actually are before going nuts on incubators.

Best way to do things in this case

I'm trying to figure out since I have 3 10k eggs saved up would I be able to incubate them during the event and have a higher chance of getting a snorlax or Lapras or since I got them post event it would just be a random 10k hatch. Can't really say much yet since this is speculation we don't even know if this event is even actually true or not. If I were to pick though probably 3 since I've had times where I hit a pokestop get a 10k go there again just to get a 2k or another 5k

IF, and it's a big IF, this happens, I choose #3. Then walk like crazy to hatch them quickly and repeat.

All those people that saved 10km eggs for the event better get walking...they have some walking to do before they can get any benefit from the event at all, if this event is a thing

Yes, hatches are determined when you pick up those eggs so if the Snorlax/Lapras increased hatching is true, people need to pick up new eggs.

Everybody is still ga-ga over Lapras? it's a good mon, but hardly Snorlax good. Rare doesn't mean it's useful. I'd be bummed if I got a Lapras. Gimmee a Snorlax, larvitar, etc.

It seems everyone values various mons differently.

I use my Lapras (multiple) often to rip through towers of DNites, but my Snorlax has not been touched in a while. I have hatched some and have candies to power up 1 or 2 of them but can't justify the stardust usage to do it, as I have other priorities.
