I'm trying to understand what this post is saying.

Am I missing something from another discussion that took part in another thread somewhere where someone was very against the trackers?

I think what the OP is pointing out is that some players drive to catch mons that they found about from tweets instead of randomly finding mons from walking around.

Using frackers to dig out rock type mons is highly controversial. ?

I must be the last one in that case tryna walk around the neighborhood to catch pointless crap.

Twitter and trackers don't work in my neighborhood, because it is quite isolated and there isn't a player base big enough to maintain such features here. I'm actually happy about that. Happened to find my first wild Snorlax 2 days ago since the start of the game!

I drive (bicycle) a lonely road, the only one that I have ever known.

Thank you, I threw out my best balls combined with a pinap and succeeded after two excellent worps! Never expected Snorlax to spawn in my area.

I got 2 once, on my way to work, I walk 2 blocks from my apartment to office and they were maybe 50 meters apart one on the tracker the other was not.

Best Snorlax sprees came in order, around mid December I was driving around for family holiday things and caught 3 Snorlax on consecutive days, then the above 2 in 5 minutes, and then finally I caught 3 in one day, so lucky when it came to the tubby boy.

Lapras and dragonite tho, took til the Water Festival and Dragonite not til maybe January but it was a good one, Level 30 86 IV DB/DC like 3023 Cp, had ??? and I knew if it didnt run I really lucked out

haha I still walk around, and it's super akward when I approach a pokestop that has a good pokemon near it and I see all these cars stopped in strange positions around me. Like geez people.

The only time I've jumped into a car is when I saw a wild Alakazam on the sightings back in September. I can't think what would make me drive today, since the nearby shows stuff within walking distance. And now I only keep pokemon with good IVs (82+) so the odds are never worth it to hop in a car. Like that Alakazam I got in the wild sucked and I wouldn't bother today. People who drive clearly are using illegal trackers and they just came from like 20 minutes away (I mean 20 minutes if they walked), AND they know it has good IVs already before they get there so they know it's worth the effort of driving.

Haha too bad I never had such an experienced before. If I had info from other players, I would definitely jump in my car for a Chansey/Blissey/Dragonite/Snorlax/Tyranitar.

People could also use whatsapp groups, but I guess that in the end the person who will provide the information will indeed use a 3rd party tracker.

So dope when you see a togetic , tyranitar, dragonite & etc on a twitter feed & you can catch all of them because it's all in a certain part of the city with 29 minutes to go get them .. if the information is out there why not use it ? Be dumb to know that stuff is in my city & not go for it lol

if the information is out there why not use it ?

If something makes the game much easyer and gives the same result as cheating by using a third-party tracker for yourself, how would we call this something?

Be dumb to know that stuff is in my city & not go for it lol

Play the game honest, as intended is "dumb" and makes you "lol"? Makes cheating and getting great pokemon you never would have found normally, feel you great? Congrats.

The ones who complain are probably the ones who don't have access to it lol every city in Southern California pretty much has a twitter feed. You'll see like 10-15 cars pull up tryna catch the big spawn

Not complaining, we just play a different game. Heck, I might read twitter as well if I was in your position. It must be a funny experience to have that many cars popping up all of a sudden.

Nice. Do these people know, wherfore "Go" in pokemon Go stands for? Asian board game, or programming language, what is your guess?

Could you point me in the direction of these twitter feeds. I keep finding only the old ones when I look online.
