Maybe Niantic IS doing something about cheaters?

Oh no...now they have to make a new account and it will take a whole 3 days for them to get back to where they were before the ban...if there even was any.

The thing is prevent people from botting, spoffing or cheating in any way.

Not delate players who do that after it's already done.

Prevent it to happen, not fix, or this will end so bad.

I agree. But still, fixing is something...
In fact, most mmos can't keep up with hackers finding new ways to cheat, the best they can do is ban them on sight.

LOTS of people use twitter/trackers and these services are run by bots.

If they make IVs (and maybe movesets) unique and random per user (CP and Shinies already work this way and it's accepted by users), I think it will help demotivate a lot of the users of trackers, which in turn will demotivate the developers who will stop at nothing to hack niantics servers. Surely they must have considered this.
