Saving 10km Eggs

I'm forcing myself to wait and see. I now have 2 10k eggs.

Some are. If I had started saving when some did I would have easily passed up 20 or more 10K eggs with a clogged storage so I haven't.

before update to 0.61, i get this feeling, niantic gonna add daycare centre for easter event, but nope nothing in apk mining... and yeah i just get a new 1 10km and bunch of 5km egg and will keep it, before add more incubator(current incubater 3), and lets wait,

I generally save up 10k eggs for each saturday when I do a weekly mass evolve, to max out my lucky egg mass evolve. At least I have been doing so for the last few weeks because I am a new player and just want to get to level 30 as fast as possible (level 29 currently).

As today was saturday, I just hatched 7 10k eggs, and I have collected an additional one since. So what I will be doing leading up to next saturday is clearing out 2k and 5k eggs and hopefully compile another batch of 10k eggs, which would be good timing for a possible easter event.

I'm confused - is the thinking that the hatch distance will be shortened during the event or that the eggs will give more candy? My understanding is that the Pokemon in an egg is determined when you pick up an egg not when you hatch it so that couldn't be a factor.

i want to get 9x 10 kms for now, but not for possible event just for use incubators

Saved 4 10's but that's it not gonna go for more and hey even if there isn't an update I'll still have a few ten km's to hatch to get her so you might as well save them
