Today I worked for 7 hours in the cold, then played for 10 hours in the cold. Been one crazy week, but nobody should ever feel like this game is more luck than grind, because it's not!

Bombed on an Alakazam tonight tho. Which brings me to this question, who are some mon that always evade you on movesets? For me, I'd say Raichu, Alakazam, and Lick x Hyper Beam Snorlax.

And I need a damn foot massage. ?

"Grinding" in a fat urban biome > everything else.

Can't take nothing away from rural places and Trainers, New Jersey for example has a gym community that is a culture, and some great nests too. Different parts of the world play different parts of the game, I feel.

Everything has its pros/cons.

Congrats man! That is a beast. RNG has not been nice to me on Alakazam, Raichu, Charizard, Blastoise and Espeon.

Lol that thing is a beast and I have issues obtaining B/HP Wrath, MS/Eq or SE Rhydon, P/HB Blissey (won't get a shot for awhile), Metal Claw?/ HB Ursaring (I don't rem what that metal slash is called), and Focus Blast Alakazam.

Really you don't have that Rhydon yet?

Exe with grass charge move, I think is only important mon that I evolved at least six and did not get what I wanted. All 6 with Psichic :). Before gen 2 was good both for attack and defence, now I wanted SoB for Att.
To a lesser extent Rhydon, I have 4, all with Rock Smash. I have candies and mons for another evo but don't feel the pressure to evolve, a bit afraid of another Rock Smash, so just wait to see what gym rework brings :).
How deep into 39 are you now?
How much XP did you make in 10 hours? :)
What kept you going?

exeggutor is about the only thing I have been lucky with i have an almost perfect con/sb which when i evolved him was second best to zh/sb and a disappointment. I also have 3 zh/sb between 84 and 93%.

I'm heading to Jersey for an event hosted by the Silph Road, and doing some gym work w locals there after, so I been playing like a madman this week trying to grind dust to push mon up for placement.

This game is FAR more luck than grind. I'm level 36 and that's always been my opinion. Grinding just increases your times pulling the RNG slot machine.

Very cool! Dragonite has been a downer for me. I have quite a few, and just one DB/DC is really useful. My admiration for playing in the cold BTW. Hard to imagine in a sub-tropical climate.
