Totally useless? His IV is 95%
well honestly, in my pov, it has ZH so better use for defense, now it has psychic instean of hyperbeam or DG, which is like one of my blisseys i use to leave in gyms
In my pov phychic is better than hyperbeam in defense, not matter if hyperbeam deals more damage, because is more likely psychic will actually hit while hyperbeam will always get dodged, atleast by someone like me, is like snorlax with hyperbeam too i mean, worst defender move ever, unless the attacker is bad, lags, etc
All of Blissey's movesets are good. The moveset isn't as important, since Blissey's strength as a defender mostly comes from it's high HP, rather than it's moveset.
Moveset ratings are only relative to the other movesets of that same Pokemon. ZH+P is rated D but it's still a better defender than any other Pokemon with their A rated movesets.
People either avoid Blissey-filled gyms because they don't have time or they take it down anyway. Unless you're in an area with few pokestops, therefore potions + revives are harder to come by, moveset isn't going to stop someone taking down a gym once they've committed to it.
Even if you were in that situation, the Blissey would still be worth powering for the reason listed above - Blissey's worst moveset is still stronger on defense than any other Pokemon.
I have an 89% Blissey with this exact moveset and I'm powering her up to max for my level.
Double Psychic will be a pain for any fighting types attacking. Psychic charge moves come fairly fast and isn't the easiest thing to dodge.
I have no problems with this moveset. Blisseys strength is her beef and maxing her out is what makes her tough.
