Completing the pokedex
Hello
Remember 2 weeks ago I asked how many eggs are needed to have all basics pokemons. I may have been quite lucky because it finally took me "only" 638 eggs. Since I live in a rural area we can say all the interesting things I have are coming from those eggs (never saw a wild dratini, omanyte and any other rare, the list is long..) and of course 638 eggs are not enough to complete the pokedex even if thanks to the buddy system I'm currently at 140/142 but It makes me wonder : how difficult is it really to complete the pokedex for you, those who live in a rural area or on the contrary in a big city ? How many eggs did you hatched and how many km did you walk ? I don't know a lot of players, especially from big cities...

I live in a smallish market town (UK) and at Level 29 have 133, but should be 135 by the end of the week from buddy walking. 580 eggs hatched.
I took a trip up to London a couple of weeks ago and was amazed at how different catching stuff was - in a short walk along the Thames I'd caught more than I'd normally catch in a week back home, although admittedly I wouldn't have had a chance at gym battling ( couple of the gyms were Level 10 and full of Dragonites).
Only missing one that I can think of, hitmonchan. I'm missing more but I could evolve them, I'm just waiting for a higher cp catch for seel, grimer, and a couple of others.
Somewhere between 5 and 600 eggs. It's funny going into the city and seeing such a plethora of spawns popping everywhere. In rural setting I'm happy to see 2 at a time.
Also I almost only see basic versions in rural area. In city I see fully evolved versions(nidoqueens, butterfrees, exeggutors, blastoise, etc) This would be nice since you already know the movesets when caught. I'm not driving 30 mins both ways just to specifically catch Pokemon though.
I live next to a small city, and I started playing on July 10th. I finished my pokedex at the end of Halloween event
I was never lucky with eggs (hatched 300),except for 5k from time to time
But I really took advantage of the candy bonuses and traveled over 20km per day to get all the grimer charmander omanyte and Bulbasaur candies
Otherwise I would still be stuck around 135
I had the chance to play in 4 different cities, so I could get other things than pidgeys and rats
And I will reach 1000km very soon (I'm lvl 30)
