Would Hariyama be a worthwhile competitor to Machamp for best fighting Pokémon next Gen?

That's the only one that comes to mind while Slaking is introduced lol. Get as many Machamps as you can peeps...

It looks to me more like a defender.

Hariyama would have CP around 2700, and he has a great hp and att on the games, but I dont know how his stats would be on pogo. He could be great, but heracross is better, unless they give hariyama c/dp, witch is possible on the main series. I dont think they will release slaking just like a 5000 cp monster though, they will probably include abilities untill gen 3.

There shouldn't be abilities or natures without a possibility to influence the moveset. That would make getting a "perfect" 'mon virtually impossible.

They should make another CP update that nerfs Slaking.

Ability in main series games forces Slaking to move once only every other turn, so Niantic could literally band-aid it and cut his CP in half. Slaking is over 3k at level 20 so even half his CP is still viable.

Lol sorry forgot about Heracross b/c I don't have access to it.. I needa farm that Champ candy in the meantime lol.

Heracross is a beast, but he don't have DP. Considering a CC champ heracross is like exactly the same.

If they give him a good moveset he'll probably be THE best fighting mon.

It seems so, though, Hariyama's base stats are a little worse.

Honestly I'd prefer Blaziken.

Me too, but it's gonna be a glass cannon. Hopefully strong enough to kick the butts of fat normal types.
