Snorlax dilemma

Hi everyone,

I really don't know what to do with my Snorlaxes.
I'm level 30 and I'd like to have a Snorlax to use in a gym but I'm very unlucky with egg hatching (I only hatched one over 461 eggs hatched) and I don't know which one power up. Can you please help me?

Snorlax list:
1) 2139 Cp, 31% IV, Zen Head - Hyper Beau
2) 1744 Cp, 80% IV, Zen Head - Body Slam
3) 965 Cp, 82% IV, Zen Head - Body Slam

Now I have 54 candies and usually I can find one Snorlax every 20 days.

Should I wait or can I start to power up one of them?

The 31% probably isn't worth keeping. The 80% would probably be the best to power up because you'll use less candies and dust to have the same moveset and 2% isn't a huge IV difference. I would suggest possibly holding off for a few more 10km hatches now that Eevee has been moved to 5km, but if you'd rather just have one now the 80% is the way to go imo.

Why would it not be worth keeping? He can still use it in it's current state, it's just that there's not much reason to power it up when his other snorlaxes would use the stardust / candy better.

If his pokemon storage is full there's no way a snorlax should get transferred over a pidgey / rattata / weedle etc.

Plus if trading ever gets implemented there are plenty of people who would take a 0 IV snorlax with the worst moveset because it's still a snorlax.

i would power up 2

1 has hyper beam which i dont like
3 has too low cp

Use 1 to attack, 2 to power, 3 to buddy

I agree, power up 2 as a defender! Definitely keep 1 to attack, until you get 20 Snorlax or something!

I'd raise #3 eventually also, if you finish powering up #2 and don't find another better Snorlax. But I'd get like 30-50 candies first before powering it up.

You are instead very lucky if:
-You can usually find a Snorlax, even very 20 days.
-You got 2 profitful ones:
1) good moveset, high level, you can use it.
2) 80% & moveset are awesome. Power up!

Great attacker, no so great defender (hbeam too easy to dodge). No need to power up.
Optimal defense moveset, good IV. All dust+candy goes here.
If there is anything left, use it here. Or save it until you find a better one.
