What is highest level a wild catch can be based on trainer level?

I know I have seen this answered somewhere, but after some googleing I cannot seem to find it again. So what is the max level (not cp. but the actual level) of a wild pokemon per your trainer level? I am level 25 currently, so what would be the max level of a pokemon caught in the wild be for me?

Answers

Wild catch can come up to level 30.
So at trainer level 29, you will have the possibility to encounter level 30 pokemons.

So are you saying at level 25, the max a wild catch can be is 26? So basically +1 trainer level..?

The max wild Pokémon catch level is equal to the trainer's level. This is capped at trainer level 30. From lev lev 30+ you'll catch Pokémon at max lev 30.

I'm level 29 and the highest level I've caught is Level 29.

Easy confusion first reply had.

Max "Catch" = Your Level (max 30)
Max Power Up = Your Level +1.5

Confirm. Newly caught pokemon will always be able to power up at least 1.5 levels.
