Suicide Squad Strategies
Anyone have good strategies for collecting your "suicide squad"? These are the mons that you don't want to keep - you just shove 'em into battle until the feint, then give them to the prof. They might have bad movesets or be mons that you wouldn't normally use in battles. On average, I lose about 3 of them for each defender.
My tips:
- Generally need 600CP to get in. Below that, and they are too weak for the suicide squad.
- Evolve Zubat to Golbat, but not Crobat. Too expensive - you can have 5 golbats for the same price in candy as 1 zubat.
- Similarly, evolve to Pidgeotto, but not Pidgeot unless I'm swimming in Pidgey candy and haven't been finding enough high level Pidgeys.
- Caterpie and Weedle get fully evolved, because Metapod/Kakuna are pretty unusable, even in the suicide squad.
- Many mons are usable as-is, without evolution, such as Krabby. I'm inconsistent here, I'll usually still evolve it to Kingler rather than sending it in as Krabby.
- I only evolve the strongest ones I find, generally L25+. I look at Stardust - if it needs 4000+stardust to power up, it's good enough to evolve.
- Do not use on Blissey.
- This is the best combat strategy when dealing with the invisible/feint-loop bug.
These guys are awesome for prestiging. I figure if I ever collect 200 of them, I can take down a L10 gym, but I never get that many.

My S. Squad starts at 800 for poor movesets, and 600 for good movesets.
I keep final CP in mind when preparing for a mass lucky evolution. Pidgeot and ratatta make excellent S. Squad recruits.
Don't send them into a hopeless situation (like fire vs. Water). I'm not keeping them; but I don't want to waste them.
You can't use more than 3 per defender before time is up.
