Blissy counter?

So I don't have a good machamp moveset but I do have this guy 88.9IV think if I max him he would be good for blissy?

Since you have no stab you need something stronger ( since you can't dodge every thing otherwise you would time out ) I find rhydon with rock smash pretty useful you need to avoid the charge moves tho and also it all comes to the cp of the blessy you are attacking

Much better options imo than a Rock Smash Rhydon which also doesn't benefit from STAB

I don't have double fighting pinsir to say for sure , but I used a ryhdon to beat a blessy and it was 200 - 300 cp more and it did good

Exeggutor for example is much more effective. Rock Smash's DPS is underwhelming even when super effective and doesn't have too much energy gain. I've tried out several Exeggutor movesets and they all more than get the job done. I battled a cp3173 Blissey with a Zen Headbutt/Seed Bomb Eggy at around cp2521 and had around ~20-30 seconds left

my best pokemons working vs blissey (2900)
2300cp arcanine with fire fang + wild charge
2500cp arcanine with fire fang + fire blast
2500cp exeggutor with headbutt + solar beam

I guess dragonite also....

and in theory these two should work also
- ursaring with counter + hyper beam
- donphan with counter + earthquake or play rough
but not tested

Really Arcanine with FF/WC? I have one since I still do have have FF/FB and was wondering what in the world to use him against effective

That is a solid choice. Arcanine and Flareon are still great against Snorlax also. The thing with Blissey is that there is a huge difference between a 2600 cp Blissey and a 3000 cp Blissey. My counter for big Blisseys is ES/SoB Eggy, but for smaller ones, I have a few options and actually like BB/HS Forretress. Here is a good list of potential options...

Not really. You need bulky mon with higher base attack against Blissey.

If you can dodge and weave effectively you can also use Alakazam with confusion/Focus blast defensively strong vs Psychic for those ZH and pychic ones really Champs have such trouble with. That amazing attack stat with that high DPS move makes up for not having a stab bonus. Makes its exciting also. I feels better then using a Champ or Heracross. You can also use a Dnite , or 2 of them a few hundred lower if you want. Used RS/Rhydons on some of the PoHB ones cause of the resistance to normals. Just like Snoralax don't use fighting mons against the ZH ones.

I attack blissy with ether my gyarados with b/hp or espeon zhb/pb both are very effective

Taking down Blissey is all about high DPS moves/mons vs. STAB or SE. Better if you can get both/all 3 like a C/DP Machamp (STAB/SE/Tanky enough even against ZH/DG).

Old Machamps would have a much harder time and having the right moves are more important.

Eggs are probably the easiest to get/use due to their bulk and SoB hits very hard. You can spam non-stop and will resist Zen Headbutt. For very strong Blisseys, I like to charge up a SoB in the fight prior, then unleash it right away and spam attack away. If I get knocked out, I clean up with Machamp.

Ursuring is decent too since Counter is a great move.
