Lamenting about my previously great 100%

The two 100% pokemon I have are Golem and Hypno (both great movesets)... Golem is still useful these days but Hypno is absolute pokepoo. I only use him for prestige now, and Alakazam/Espeon/Exeggutor for the rest (regardless of IV, still better than Hypno).

Have you guys lost any 100% all-stars to rebalancing? I see 100% posts from time to time but I think this is new, in regards to fallen heroes of your teams.

Hypno was never particularly useful. I was never happy with them except as prestigers. Before the CP change, after the CP change, after Gen 2... in all cases they were lackluster.

It's not like they're particularly rare or anything, as a species, and good IV's won't make an ineffective species good.

Golem isn't that good either - it's got niche uses, but marginal CP and crap typing really limits it. I don't think this changed during any of the rebalances either? (though I forget if it lost or gained CP in that rebalance)

In summary, IMO, they weren't very good to begin with.

Golem and Rhydon both got a huge boost from the CP formula change. Rhydon is a good defender tanks to new stats and Golem is a good attacker with right movesett.

Hypno I've always used as prestiging mon due to lower CP but it used to be the best Psychic besides eggy. Alakazam got a boost from the formula rework as well to become the attacker we know today.

Love Golem. With the buff to Rock Throw, I use my RT/SE dude all the time (though not against water, obviously).

As a general attacker? Or prestige? Or are there particular defenders you target?

I evolved my hatched 98% Geodude today and was pleased to end up with a RT/SE Golem. Now trying to figure out if I should power him up.

What moveset on Hypno? I throw my confusion/psyshock one at the bottom of gyms. He is one of those pokemon that might be great in the gym rebalance.

My 100% pokemon are Slowking, who is sitting in a gym, Raichu, which is worthless, and Arcanine with FF/FB that I never powered up because he would never get the fb off as a defender...

My 1st 100 percent was lost before I even got it. Nidoran male. Evolved to Nido King and got poison jab/sludge wave. He sitting at 1977 cp now. I'm gonna put him out to stud I suppose. I have 2 90% queens and several high level and IV nidorans. I did hatch a 100 Gastly last week. Still sitting on him. I have 3 pretty awesome Gengar already.

This is what i never undetstood... Why the heck anybody cares about defending movesets? Especialy about those on an offence Pokémon like arcanine?

Actually the Gym strategy ist all about CP and Blissey. If somebody is in the mood to conquer a Gym, he will succeed. Except .. maybe.. there is a Blissey what makes the time Run out..

Nobody should ever Care about defensiv movesets..
