Who are the best Blissey/Snorlax Prestigers?
I think Wigglytuff is too slow for Blissey (although it can be used to prestige snorlax). Whose the best Fighting prestiger? Is it Machamp? Is it Poliwrath? Primeape?

I like prestiging against Blissey, especially when she's in the bottom and there's a bund of Gyaradoses and Dragonites above her. I will try to pass her with 500 points or even less then gain more from those easy defenders.
Fighting types don't appear much in my area so I usually use my C/SoB Exeggutors, one of the strongest attackers IMO.
According to the good folks at Pokebattler.com, and based on their battle simulations, currently the best Blissey Prestigers in order are:
-Machamp (Counter/Dynamic Punch)
-Primeape (Counter/Close Combat)
-Machoke (Karate Chop/Dynamic Punch)
-Heracross (Counter/Close Combat)
-Haunter (Lick/Sludge Bomb)
The current best Snorlax Prestigers are:
-Machamp (Counter/Dynamic Punch)
-Machoke (Karate Chop/Dynamic Punch)
-Forretress (Bug Bite/Heavy Slam)
-Skarmory (Steel Wing/Sky Attack)
-Hitmontop (Counter/Close Combat
Steelix and Scizor are good too, with the steel resistances. Not sure Forretress or Skarmory are that much better and a good Scizor is more useful in general.
Poliwrath isn't too bad, especially since he has strong value against tyranitar too.
Haunter is not a good choice. Psychic would rip through it, although it has useful resistances, once you know the moveset of the blissey.
Great advice. >:-(
Primeape, who is way to small to even survive a battle against Blissey (not talking about defeating her in time) is mentioned, Haunter who is not very effective and does defintely not survive are mentioned, while double-fight Poliwrath, who can beat a bigger Blissey in time, is not.

rofl. They suggest machoke . The thing starts getting even funnyer. [/Edit]
You should examine which criteria they use. Do not blindly follow an advice. If something sounds ridiculous, it sometimes just is ridiculous.
[Edit2]
I am really wondering, who of the upvoters really read the posting.

I was curious and started a pokebattler simulation for myself.
With perfect dodging, a 1250 CP Primeape will take out half a 2500 CP Blissey, but it will take him about half the available time. You get a dead pokemon and are not sure to kill Blissey with a second pokemon. This makes no sense for me.
They may very well be the most time/prestige efficient pokes to use. I've read a separate write up more thorough than celandros testing that came up with similar results. Machoke and primeape we're included as well along with Hitmonchan(c/cc only), heracross, hitmonlee, alakazam.
Blissey is a different beast. Even if it takes more than one mon to beat blissey doesn't mean it's the wrong prestiger. Repeatedly beating it with something that doesn't die during the fight for miniscule prestige isn't worth the time or resources.

Does this mean, using multiple glass cannons is however more efficient than one poliwrath for prestiging a blissey?
It's not much of argument either way, I was just saying the first guy wasn't wrong. Neither are you. Difference in playstyles is all
With the small fighting pokemon, i could agree somehow, i have now understood that it is sometimes reasonable to use a suicide-stragegy.
But in which way does haunter make sense? I cannot see a reason to use this pokemon here.
I am getting really curious. Did anybody really (not only in simulation) use successfully (to his own metrics what "success" means) use
-Primeape (Counter/Close Combat)
-Machoke (Karate Chop/Dynamic Punch)
-Haunter (Lick/Sludge Bomb)
as prestigers to Blissey and did anybody use successfully use
-Machoke (Karate Chop/Dynamic Punch)
-Forretress (Bug Bite/Heavy Slam)
-Hitmontop (Counter/Close Combat
as prestigers to snorlax? This snorlax part seems more likely than the blissey part as snorlax is way easyer to beat.
Bruno, here is the article, and is not based on pokebattler, only hosted on their blog: http://pokebattler.com/articles/2017/03/08/version-3-pogo-ranking-list-of-prestigers-and-counters/
If you go further in excel we find that indded those mons die quickly, like 30 -35 seconds
And btw, un that article, even the author simself has doubts on his results for blissey, in fact in their usufulness in real battles. Read the pharagraph right above Blussey picture.
In short, Bruno is right to demolish the initial comment with that list.

The original article. The author himself question the usufulness of his results. Read in full, this list without the full article explanations is useless.
And I repeat, nowhere there is said the simulations are done with poke battler. Maybe using their engine since is open source, but do not attribute a discutable list to another one that the creator.
Snorlax = i use Kingler and crobat... seriusly dude, snorlax "NERF" try it, Kingler/Bubble n water pulse or Metalclaw/water pulse... crobat air slash/sludge bomb... easy 1000prestige( i only use kingler and crobat if the snorlax in bottom of the gym)....1+++k cp kingler beat 80% snorlax hp 3000cp like nothing
Blessey = arcanine and all my grass pokemon... spam all the fire blast/ flame thrower and solar beam... Exeggutor abit tanker and with charge move solar beam(buff) ez... try search in youtube someone already making video prestige with exeggutor and paras(yes is crappy paras) both video talking about solar beam
Of course, you can try him.
I seem to have a different understanding what makes a good prestiger than everybody else here. I want my prestiger to survive a battle.
I would like to prestige with one Poliwrath within 70 seconds more than to use three alakazams within 35 seconds. But this is just me. If you have abundand revives and potions, why not using glass cannons for prestiging?
I once had the "pleasure" to prestige one chansey (sic). It took me three 1050-cp-kadabras, but i needed their firepower to kill her in time. I got the 500 XP i needed. This was an emergency measure, not a great success.
