Is anyone's Swinub biome....

.... missing the Swinub?

Prior to the water event, ~50% of spawns were Swinub. Since the event has ended, I've only seen a couple... Anyone seeing changes in their biome?

Yeah I see it near Shellder, Dewgong, and Sneasel.

Yea they are more common than Pidgey near me. I hate them at this point

I had tons of Swinubs prior to water event. Today I've caught only 2.

I assume that Swinub could be seasonal "winter" spawns and now that spring has come they became more rare.

I saw quite a few in Rhode Island just after the Gen 2 launch, only a few since I've been back in New York.

They were rare in Italy. And they still are rare.
Pinap+Ultra to any I met so far and I'll keep on doing that.

I was commenting on the same thing today to my daughter. My main pokestop-cruising area was overflowing with Swinubs before the event, like 3-6 at every intersection. After the event, Swinubs are about as common as Horseas, Seels, and Shellders, which is still fairly common, but nothing like it was before.

Where are you?

I'm seeing the same thing. OFC I expected it - I mean "hey, here's a top shelf prestiger and dragon slayer and they're more common than pidgeys" - seemed unlikely to persist.

I would definitely belive they were seasonal (winter only), which would explain why the canadian above is reporting no change (yet)

Upper Midwest, USA

Another way to put it is that Swinubs are about as common now as wild Piloswines were before the water event. Interestingly, it was the same situation with Drowzees before and after the Halloween event; they were ridiculously overpopulated before, and then after, they were merely fairly common.

Same here, notably less Swinub than before the event. Seems Gen. I and Gen.II are now equally distributed, some Gen. I mons like Spearow which virtually disappeared after Gen. II launch are back again

Didn't have swinub before event but something has changed, I've been missing pidgeys and they are back in full force. Can't pinpoint what they have replaced.

same here, no swinubs anymore. lots of rattata now, which almost extinct before the water event.

Now that you meantion it, I don't think I saw a single Swinub today, they had been pretty common, I usually catch them if I see them.
