Which 1st Gen starter took you more time to get?

I had to walk almost 200 km but finally I'm going to evolve my chameleon! So I was wondering which starter (Charizar, Blastoise or Venusaur) of 1st generation has taken you more time to get. Sadly, In my case is going to be Venusaur, I'll have to walk approximately the same distance than for my charizar..

Mine was Grimer/Muk funny enough. I finally got to about 48 candies through eggs then caught a Muk in the wild that was around 49CP lol.

When Charmander was rare for me I walked 240km for a Charizard. Kind of a waste since I had better buddy options. I have plenty Squirtle candies but I've never caught a good one, so I'm still missing Blastoise from the dex. Don't want to settle for anything less than 86.7% IVs. I've actually never caught one with above 82.2%

I understand you, even if it takes longer I don't evolve rare pokemon that are not above 90%. (My new charizar is 97.7% btw)

I was that way too. I only keep starters with above ninety. Guess I kinda got flexible

For me it was the Bulbasaur family. I was lucky enough to have a Charmander nest within easy walking distance of my house and Squirtles were (still are) fairly common in the wild in my town.

Bulbasaur rarely appeared. Had about 30 candies when the buddy system got introduced (most from egg hatches) and walked about 100km with one. Then suddenly a good nest of them appeared in the town and everyone went nuts.

I've got three Venusaur, three Blastoise, and still no Charizard...

Charizard. Still don't have one actually.

I got Venusaur first. Partially because Bulbasaur is the most common where I live and partially because Vaporeons are everywhere.

I recently got my Blastoise thanks in part to the Water event. I missed most of the Starter Event.

Venusar. If it wasnt for a Venusaur I caught during the Christmas event, I would still be sitting on an Ivisaur and 80 candies.

Charizard.

Took me a while to get the necessary candy to evolve my hatched 100% IV Charmader (only 100% IV mon that I know that I have caught).
Unfortunately it got Ember + Flamethrower, so I have left him at 1535 CP unloved and un-powered up.

Now have a further 90 Charmander candies . . .

Definitely charizard. Outside of the New Year's event, I have caught 2 and hatched 2 charmanders. If it wasn't for the event, I would be walking one now.

Well, I only started playing in february, but I guess my answer is Venusaur, as that is the only one I haven't gotten yet. But I do have the candies for it, I'm just waiting for my next mass evolve, which will happen on saturday where I will also hatch no less than 8 10k eggs simultaneously. Exciting!

For every 2 squirtle or Charminster I find 1 balbasar. Venusaur took the longest for me.

My last starter to evolve was venusaur, but interistingly enough it wasn't because of candies, but because I wanted to evolve a good IV (82%+) one, so by the time I found one, I had like 300 candies >_<

The spawn rates where I live are
Bulbasaur>Charmander>>>Squirtle

I've evolved several of each now, gotten several Venusaurs with good movesets, one Charizard just recently, still trying for WH Blastoise.
