Does a lucky egg even work for gym battles? I'd think we'd have heard of people using lucky eggs while using bubblestrat.

I think it is not worth it to try anything clever with lucky eggs. Just save up candy and do a mass evolution. Maybe do it to coincide with your 7th day streak.

it do work ( doesnt worse it tho ) , once i had like 3 minutes and all out of evolution to do and prestiged a gym , it work in any XP activity

I have 1200 pidgey candy but not enough room to... well I do have like 120 space but.. I would have to crowd it with that crap and appraise everypokemon that I get and almost throw it all once catched. I mean I can't store and then check iv in my home. Unless i keep buying space for pokes

Why do you even bother appraising Pidgeys? So what if you get a 82+ IV one? You probably still wouldn't waste Stardust and Candies on it. So just Catch enough for evolution, evolve them all, then dump them all.

If you don't have 80+ evolves waiting.

It's not a bad place to burn an egg, all your evolves, and then use whatever left over time on gym battling.

Double something is better than wasted egg time

Catching and spinning will get you more XP than fighting, though. That's why I usually do my mass evolves in a park with a bunch of stops and spawn points.

Find a place with a handful of enemy level 10 gyms.
Find 8 players on your team.
Each of you fire off a lucky egg and have fun taking down gyms at record speed.

Other than that, mass evolve right after your 7th day catch and spin.
