another silly question

Blissey have 6 defending move sets, starting with headbutt + dazzling gleam, then pound version.
Then comes headbutt + hyperbeam and then pound version, but why suddenly pound is better choice for psychic charge move?

is not, ZH is better in defense AI wise than pound because is not spammed, somebody just screwed the order

it is because of type coverage.
if a pokemon resists psychic it will resist both ZH and Psychic.

...then some pokemon might resist both Normal and Psychic (Metal).

...and some might double resist Psychic (Metagross and family, beast, Metal Psychic, coming Gen3)
+resist normal.

Good points...I always use Eggs (C/SoB) now to start my attack into Blissey and Pound would do more damage compared to ZH/P.

no way, doesnt matter vs who, ZH deal more damage than pound, with stab pound deals 8, ZH vs a physc deals 9.6 and will generate energy quickly because is not spammed again

type coverage dont apply in here, because he will still doing 9.6 with ZH and 8 with Pound, probably if eggy was weak to normal but isnt, nobody is weak to normal, that is why in AI you just want what deals more damage because is something you cant control you need to get raw numbers from a virtual combat
