Slowpoke candy

I've seen some people mention that they are happy to be getting a lot of slowpoke candy during this event. What do you use it for? Slowbro prestigers? If so, what do you use these prestigers against usually?

I only use it to evolve high level Slowpokes for C/IB Slowbros.

Defense my friend. C hits super hard and IB usually punishes Slowbro's best counter Eggy. Think of this as the new B/IP Poliwrath. I place it in gyms with high turnover punishing whoever decides to mess w/ my Slowbros.
